So would this be a 4? Eelegoo grey running the 40miron B100 2-20 test. It still feels a bit tacky after rinsing with IPA, gently wiping, and 20 minutes under a 405nm UV light.

So it begins! I have a feeling you’re going to be hearing a lot more from me as I get this up and running!

What’s the real lowdown on the easiest to use resin for 28-32mm scale miniatures? I’ve seen directly conflicting answers through searching this group. Some people claim clear is the easiest to work with due to no pigment to lengthen exposure times. But on a post here just today I’ve seen people claim clear results in detail loss. I will be painting everything I print so the color doesn’t matter for appearance’s sake. I am just looking to stack the deck in my favor for high detail and straightforward/easy printing.

Totally new, sorry for dumb questions. My Photon is figuratively on its way (will be a Christmas present) and I've already started assembling STL files and trying to condition them ahead of time. These bases seemed a good introduction to printing. I've never done this before so I have no clue what I'm doing. I found another thread that mentioned using a 46.62-degree inclination for .05 layer height, which I expect to use. I used auto-generation for supports and this looks like WAY too few. Would you agree? How do I know what appropriate support structures look like? Are there guidelines?

Bonus question, with Anycubic's latest response, is the Upgraded S better for an introductory printer than Mars?

Lets talk toxicity. I know resin is not meant to be directly touched, tastes, or otherwise ingested. If I’m going to be watching the print, or in the same room/enclosure I need to be wearing a face mask with adequate ventilation. But what else? I’m planning on jumping in with both feet soon and my printer will most likely be located in my basement without direct ventilation access. If I enclose it in its own small room and wear a mask when in the room while it’s active, is that sufficient? Let’s assume this partition isn’t air tight, but it could be if I wanted.
