Any advice on how to fix this? Worked fine yesterday, had a power outage overnight and now this is happening

No they don't, but if there was a surge well it was on it could have messed it up. I assume you've already tried unplugging and plugging the machine back in? Next I'd try opening it up and checking the connection

Just to make sure... Have you tried powering it off, unplugging it from the power supply for a few minutes, plugging it back in, and turning it back on?

ok. Sorry, I would have felt horrible if I didn't ask. It's the tech in me.
My next step would be to check the LCD, as Alex recommended.
Also, which firmware did you try?

Bad contact on LCD flat cable for sure.
