2 accomplishments today. Managed to find a nice ratio for flex100 and also managed to stabilise mica pigments (using a secret ingredient) within monocure clear. The mix has been emulsified for over 12 hours now with little to no settling of the pigment!

Question for those who use gun oil to lube the drive thread. Have you had any long term issues with this? I'm concerned that oil will eventually find it's way into the guts of the Photon and cause mayhem. Thoughts?

Test print came out ok I think. I’ll take it off tonight to see. I used the Flint Reed method to calibrate the bed.

Hi everyone,

I'm having problems with the printer not forming any models although it is completing a print without any errors.

I have noticed that on the touchscreen that the model

is highlighted as red if i go back to select the model for another print as opposed to green.

I have only got around to trying the Anycubic, so maybe the fact the the resin i am using is outdated (August 2018) is the problem. Although the resin bottle was unopended and shaken well before use. It looks fine in the vat.

Please look at my print settings and slicer setups - i have followed recommeneded settings from the community spreadsheet.

There is a 1/3 amount of resin in the vat as recommended

Maybe another clue is that with the Meeples model print, there are maybe a few layers that are formed within the resin at the base of the vat - you can see a faint outline in the photo of the vat.

So these 3M gas mask filters are useless... I still get a very strong resin smell. Just to clarify - I have a tube going from the inner fan cut-out to the back fan with all the joints having gaskets so nothing can leak.
