Well I got my photon on the black Friday sale and have been printing away. I am in love with this printer. Cant seem to get a print to fail lol. Been printing on the resin that came with it, elegoo grey and now just got in the siraya tech blu. Well i kinda lied, I have had two prints fail but not sticking to the fep or other issues like I have seen on here. I want to see if anyone can print the thingiverse torture test link that I am pasting in. Some very strange thing is happening in the G-code that is causing a support base to randomly show up inside the lattice. I suspect is a glitch in the slicing sowftware. I am using Chitubox. This artifact does not happen on any other type of prints I do except this lattice. Its hard to see in the photo but my finger is pointing in the area. The stranger thing is all my supports are in place on the build plate except the 2 or 3 that dicide not to print during the initial layers but show up half way threw the print with nothing failing below it. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2313909 翻譯年糕

So I'm getting a hole in my xp finder test. Anyone have the same issue? Is it safe to run the test dry with no build plate to check for bad led?

First print on the Anycubic photon. Geez resin printing is finicky compared to FDM lol.
2 fails before success. Bit of squish at the bottom obviously from printing it flat on the build plate, lesson learned. Releveled and sliced again to get the final success. Tried Hex3D baby Vader next and fail. Base and supports printed and but the model obviously suctioned off the supports argh ?

Where does everyone here get ther new film from? I need to order more thinking forward... My Proton S came with scratches on the metal and on the film. Probably just gonna toss this piece of film and replace it with one of the two new sheets that came with it.

Super dumb question....

I'm printing miniatures for wargames, and on the larger pieces I'm hollowing them to save on resin. But when I attempt to cure them, I get streams of resin leaking out from inside the models.

How do people usually deal with this sort of thing? Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be appreciated....

I finically received my Kapton tape. I leveled the plate with the flint reed method, and I’m currently printing the test cube. I filled the basin up a tiny bit passed where the flat walls stop. Is this enough resin to complete the test cube and if I leave it over night will that affect the liquid resin so it can’t be rinsed in the morning?
