After using a clear resin to make a print what is the best way to keep the part clear? I was thinking of using a clear spray coat. If that's the best solution what type should be used for best results and does it being gloss, semi gloss, matte for a finish make a difference?

I am using the paper test to level the platform. I have followed the manual up to Step 10 ” Setting current z height as Zero position”. The manual says the Tools> Z = 0 screen will state “Z=0, yes or no”.

However, when I go to Tools>Z=O the screen instead says “Home first then Move Z to bottom.” My screen does not state the same message that is used in the manual. What should I do? Thanks.

EDIT: After some reading I checked if the z axis sensor light was on and it is not. When I Swich the machine on it quickly flicks on and back off again. Does anyone know how I might troubleshoot a sensor that is not working? Or reasons for it failing? Thank you

Hello all, looking for a bit of advice. My Anycubic Photon has developed an issue and I’m unsure how to fix it. It had been working perfectly until I tried to print and the platform would not come down. It seems to think it’s touching the screen when it’s floating in mid air and then when I cancel the print it travels right back up to the top and wants to keep going producing a grinding sound. Obviously I stopped it straight away so it didn’t damage the motor. I tried to reset the zaxis but it didn’t seem to make any difference. Can you suggest what I do from here please? My printer was only bought a few months ago, maybe 5 months?
Thank you for any help, I’ve searched the forum but couldn’t find a similar issue.
