Sup everyone. I have two questions regarding cleanup. How long can the resin sit in the VAT after a print? If its sits too long does it make it harder to clean up? I'm assuming yes but want to make sure. Bleach can be used to clean containers and tools afterward right? Not the actual print, just the tools. I don't see why it would be a problem but haven't seen any videos on anyone using that and it's much cheaper than Iso alcohol

Holla guys been going strong for a couple of months now and I am hitting on a new issue, proper disposal of the empty resin containers. I have been holding onto them because I know they are toxic does anyone know of the proper way to dispose of these?

Latest Fail

Tried multiple settings, multiple structures, multiple levels, everything is clean, different models. starting to get very frustrated. and from the lack of success that seems to be happening on this page.... I am not the only one feeling the pain.

Here is my latest fail settings straight from the google doc. line 27? i think. Doesn't work. should be updated and no bueno.

Closest thing I have had to a success was what I posted a few days ago, but that was hardly a success as I could not trim the supports as the print was way too brittle and snapped pieces off my model.

any help, advice, or anything to stop me from hucking this pos across the room

Along with your advice, should you be so kind as to provide some, please post RECENT successes to give me some inspiration to keep going.

Hey! Looking to downgrade my firmware. After trouble shooting a range of issues this is my next move! Currently running the latest firmware with .pws and would like to revert back to using .photons (using Photon S)

I dont understand why this is happening. I've reset my z axis 3 times but I'm still getting print fails like this. What am I doing wrong?

Hey I need help with my photon!

I got one last week. First couple days were fine. Most of my prints came out fantastic after the typical tprial and error.

Now I can't get anything to come up. Everything is a pancake on the bottom of the vat. I've tried relevelling the plate (several times, paper method), drained the vat and tightened all the screws and refilled the resin (I'm using grey anycubic 405 nm resin, nothing fancy) Im using the photon validator to ensure my supports were good. Nothing is working. I've even tried reprinting files that worked perfectly before and it's just failing.

I am totally at my wit's end and have no idea what to do next (and Anycubics support team has been useless. Happy for any suggestions at this point.

Hey Guys! Can someone tell my why my printer just stops mid printing? He moves the z axis all the way to the top without canceling the print it self. I run v 4.2.19 for the firmweare. The print file was just 1.5gb or so dont know why that happens. Any help appreciated

Please be aware that by ordering with AnyCubic directly, you are going to struggle to resolve any issues. I have waited almost 1 month for a refund on a printer that was rejected at delivery as instructed by AnyCubic. They refuse to tell me when I will get my refund, I have had to now dispute the issue with my credit company.

I had to place a second order for the printer that I did want Photon S, which didn't work when it arrived, it took a week for them to accept that it was faulty (after many emails) and they agreed to exchange it. After sending it back, they have still not sent a replacement after many requests.

I wouldn't order from them again, but if you do, I would suggest using Amazon, as they will at least help resolve any issues.

UPDATE: They have now refunded the cost of the Second printer but the not the cost to return the faulty one to them and after 5 weeks, I still haven't had my refund for the first printer that I never received, I have emailed support a number of times and keep getting the same answer, which is I have to wait for my refund. I have now purchased an Elegoo Mars, which I am really happy with! Further updates to follow.
