So, buying my first resin printer. Photon s owners, what should I choose a photon s over a Mars? Planning on printing a wide variety of things but starting with figures.
Printer will be in a spare room within the house.

What are some good YouTube channels/videos to watch to get a start to finish tutorial? (model placement,supports,slicing,settings,printing, cleaning,curing)

I have a photon zero showing up Wednesday and want to try and understand the software side of this before it arrives. I have the purse slicer and chitibox installed so far.

Good evening hive mind. I am in need of your help.
Half way through a print I noticed that the build plate wasn’t raising.
I have taken the build plate and vat out and tried to raise the rail, there is no response whatsoever in regards to any movement, when the up arrow is pressed the beep is still ok.

Any help or idea of what the problem could be would be more than welcome

Hi.
Long time FDM owner, new at resin. So I have two questions:
1. Are there an online guide for common print troubleshooting, like the is for FDM. ?
2. So my current problem is that bottom layers seems to "melt" together. See the pictures, the coin should have been identical on top and bottom.
What parameters should I tweake to fix this?

I have 8 bottom layers, with 50 sec exposure time for the bottom layers. Otherwise 6 sec for all other layers.

My printer is a photon S, the resin is the one that came with the package.

Light Supports, ist there a trick?
Hi everyone, I'd like to have small support, but those prints always fail, I just got the support standing but no model attached. With mid it almost always works...
Is there some setting that is critical or depends this on exposure time or what?

I searched the group first and I see a lot of people having To re-level after they change the FEP. But what would be giving me the issue that I have to re-level the bed almost every print?

hi all

i got my photon yesterday ... :) ... its new to me in fact the previous owner never printed with it so got it at a fair price .... i know its the older type as the screen is the white one with the 3 blue squares .. any way i updated the firmware to 4.2.18 as theres a warning not to go to .19 ...

i printed the test cube thing ant it printed fine ive tried acouple of files ive have sliced with chitubox (latest version) and both times its got around 3 hours in and the bed has lifted out of the vat and rasied by 10/20 mm and stays there the display is showing like its stuck on a layer the dark rectangle shows the layer to be exposing but nothing is happening ....
