Is there a way to change the z rod default height when pausing a print ?

Mine pauses so low you can barely see what's on the plate...

I am looking to print a casing in 2 halves as it's too big to fit the printer. Question, do I glue the 2 parts together before curing, as they are a little soft and I can match the 2 halves together, or is it better to cure the 2 halves first. Thanks.

Hi all, so I just bought two photon printers used from a dental office and tried to run a test print on them but for some reason the files aren't being picked up from the USB. I generated the print files using the Photon Slicer from the website but no luck, I tried with two USBs I had and a new one.

Okay .. so flat on the build plate did not work (was unable to remove the print without breaking it), and fully on supports also did not work, because the print came loose from the supports.

Would this way work? Tilted about 10degrees, medium supports with 6mm base. There is a big area in the base without supports though, so I can't imagine it would work actually..

Firstly, sorry its my 1st go actually using the resin exposure finder method and I want to get it right before i do a 12 hour print on this new resin :D

1st photo is back lit with LED lamp, 2nd just camera night mode rather than flash.

Am i looking at 8 or 9 here perhaps? so 16/18 seconds? Seems quite high Elegoo ABS like grey resin

Hey Photonsters, noob here (lots of FDM experience though). I got a Photon this week and ran the test cube and everything looked good. After that, I started printing a lightsaber chassis. After curing the print yesterday, I went to test fit and its way too big. Like 1.2 mm too big. The back end of it is also supposed to have a 90 degree angle and it printed at around 80-ish. Any idea what the issue is here? Some initial research has taught me that dimensional accuracy is not the photon's strong suit but is there anything I can do to get this margin of error down?

Printing with Anycubic clear. .025 layer height. Recommended settings from the spreadsheet. Auto supports and orientation from prusaslicer, sliced in chitubox, run through the photon validation too.
