Hi all, i am a complete newbie in 3d printing. Today i printed the first testprint without any problems.
Than i tried to print a miniature from thingieverse, downloaded the file, and let the supports set automaticaly, printed it and it failed.
Is there any tipp or program that help me control if there are all supports set? I tried the photon validator but cant import files.

My photon s has the firmware 3.4.1 should i upgrade to 5.0.2?

Today I made this and I cured it in curing box. I realized that the printing stinks. Is that normal? Normally when I print something I leave it on daylight and it not stinks.

I've been having real issues printing this; I printed about 10 with no issues, then they started failing in different spots; this is my 12th version of moving, angling (or not angling), adding holes, changing thickness, etc. Last time the back did not print, this time the face did not print. Looking for suggestions as to what I am doing wrong here. Did a few other prints to ensure it wasn't the printer and they came out fine, just this seems to be the issue. Elegoo Gray at 90 and 8..... hell if someone has a good working .photon file for this I'm anxious to give it a try over my own attempts.

Is this being too careful? I have a ton of poWerful LED lights in direct view of the printers front door/window. I often have these on while I process and paint while a print is running. Do you think the ambient lighting could affect the resin in the VAT? I just now I took the foam packaging and slid it over the top of the printer to cover up the windows. Unnecessary or brilliant?
