Random question, for replacing the LCD, I tried an Eelegoo screen on one of my printers, the screen itself works well but it doesn't sit flush with the red plate which seems to be affecting the print quality a bit. Thus I ordered some Anycubic screens "locally" but they didn't seem to come with the adhesive strips to actually secure the LCD, is this normal for the AC LCDs? The Eelegoo one did come with the strips.

If it's something I need to supply myself what exactly should I be looking for up here in Canada? I assume I can't just stick any old adhesive in there....

Anybody else experiencing that hollowed miniatures "sweat" resin, though there's no visible holes or cracks? I post cured them and primed them with paint but still most of my hollowed models seem to leak over time?!?

well, i just learned that resin printed to lcd can be removed by enamel paints thinner.
now wait for new fep film ?

Going to check my lcd screen properly tomorrow when my current print has finished but does this look like it's got a dead spot, my last 3 prints have got this issue show up on them.

**UPDATE** just checked the printer, it was a small patch of cured resin on the LCD screen, cleaned it off and all is good.
Moral of the story, check for cured resin on your LCD before panicking that the screen has gone bad.

Think I just got lucky. Wanted to get a Photon for a while and ordered one early this week. Arrived today. Been reading a lot on all the stuff regarding software and firmware so thought i should check things out. Its a regular Photon new in box - Read out the info screen. Says the following: Photon 5.5 and LCD 4.0.11 Looks like early code?? What should I bring it up to and what about a decent slicer? Thank you !

Hello friends! I need a jewelry designer in 3d and can work in stl or 3dm format. Then I will attach the models that I need and their characteristics. Lady size US 6.5, are two rings, the center is the engagement and the other is the wedding lady. Round stones all. The central stone of the engagement ring is 8mm in diameter, the two that go to one side are 5mm in diameter. For men's: Size US 11.5, stones that are round with a diameter of 3mm or 2.5mm. The maximum desired weight is 10 to 12 in total if possible. The metal in which they will be finished is 14kl white.

For who there are interested , there exists a file on thingiverse for the elegoo mars to make a "auto refill vat" , it's work pretty well even if it need some adjustments to fit on the photon's vat ;)
