I had an AHAH moment!!!

Skate raft = Easy removal from the build plate!!!

That beveled edge makes it so much easier to slide a knife or a spatula under the edge!!

I use a short boning knife. The blade is a wedge and not flat so it slides right under that skate edge and POP off comes the build in 5 seconds!!!

Hey guys, quick question. I'm having a Z- Axis issue. I'm going through the troubleshooting on the Photonsters github and had a question for the group. Anyone know where I can get a motherboard at a decent price? I bought the printer for $100 used so I feel like paying $100 for a replacement motherboard is a bit of a poor choice. But let's hope I don't have replace it and it's just an EEPROM issue. Thanks in advance guys!

Howdy folks! I've got to say that I am one unhappy new Photon owner this morning. Not only did the Photon slicer software not work... It just dies during the insert support phase... But the machine is also defective! When you power up and hit the "Home" button it drives to the floor of the build area and just tries to keep going! It doesn't appear to see the "home" sensor or whatever should be telling it to stop. No response yet from Anycubic and Amazon has been pretty useless! Any suggestions? (P.S. I've already downloaded Chitubox so the software thing is not an issue... but I would like the printer to actually work!)

I just replaced my LCD screen on my original Photon that I’ve had for around a year now. However it doesn’t appear right. Could something else be going on the printer? This is how things currently appear. The first is what I get when I run the exposure test on the printer. The others are what I get when attempting a print.

*Edit* I have double checked the cable and everything seems to be seated correctly. After some further testing it looks at those there is temporary screen burn occurring. If I try the print first and then go to the UV Exposure then the image of the print are intermixed with the test rectangle. Same if the test is run first. Is this a faulty replacement or is the motherboard going?
