Has anyone attempted to use the photon to 3D print as a service? I was wondering what the pricing model is like. I'm currently trying to figure out a formula I can set up that involves material used, time printed, processing and post processing, travel cost to deliver and finally a little bit of profit.

Anyone else have one of these? I just bought one but not sure if the uv light is powerful enough. Seems like a good buy since you get both ultrasonic cleaning and uv curing in one.

I am slicing in Chitu box , using the hollow function.

Have a Photon S

So when I open in Photon Workshop - Sliced view it does not show any of the Z lift distance etc , they are all set to 0

Will that work , cannot find a way to edit that ?

Its a 9 hour print , would prefer to get this right .

Also , if I then save the PWS from sliced view , and try to open in Photon Workshop it just crashes.

File is 345 mb , largest one i have seen , not sure if that is a problem?

Aaand it shows a blank preview on the printer., failed to open file.

EDIT: Is there a way to save from Chitubox or Photon validator something I can use directly for the printer rather then having to always use the Photon workshop ?

It seems I have to use that to make the PWS format , but that is where everything gets messed up .

Hi everyone! Recently I've acquired the new Phrozen Transform, and luckily it works with chitubox so it's a seamless transition. Am wondering does the resin exposure test we have for the anycubic photon works with the Transform as well? Thanks in advance..!

Hi All

MAde the mistake :) of upgrading my Fauxton to firmware 5.0.2, it can now see .photon files but locks up 98% of the time, so I can never start a print, USB with only .pws files seem to work OK. :(
