Shopping Recommendations.

1- I need new FEPs (not entirely sure what FEP stands for, but mine has a hole in it). I know this has been discussed on here recently, sources, etc..., but search as I might, I can't find the thread... There's so many options on Amazon. I want something as durable as the AC OEM sheet, but price is a factor too. Nothing super cheapo tho.

2- I want get into printing minis wihtout the brittleness of AC Green. I've had success printing the green, but many of my minis are brttle. Since they are designed to be played, not shelf pieces, I want them to be more resilient. What should I get? I see Siraya ABS seems to be recommended, but should I consider something else? A mix of some flexi-resin or something? I have 1000ml bottle of Elegoo Gray I've yet to tap into...

Could the Photon z axis be enlarged and maintain print quality?

If larger rails could be made, a larger lead screw installed, and a tweak to code does it seem possible?

Forget about the lid for now, or the reasons why you’d want to - simply is it feasible? What would be the probable pros/cons?

Im very insecure about hollowing out models - but it needs to be done.

How would you go about this one? Ive hollowed it out in meshmixer 2mm walls.

I would think it would need holes where I placed the red dots (plus some more mirrored on the other side). What are your thoughts

Hey, guys! I'm in the middle of fixing my Photon, which still gives Fobble (wobble mixed with getting annoyed), so I hope you'll forgive me for using another printer for the castable resin. The resin, Cr3a, works just as well with the Photon, if the printer is in top shape that is. I wanted to show what I'm working on ?

The first one is the concept that I shared some time ago, done in Zbrush.

Second set are the prototypes, these have been printed with Dental Gray for better visuals and these prints are also my back-up, if I ever need to create a mold in a hurry.

The last two blue ones are Cr3a. Currently building trees to be cast at the end of the week and printing these tiny things to be cast in sterling. What I'll do next is to add feeder sprues and then attach the prints to the main sprue. In total there's about 30-40 pieces, both wax and resin patterns.

Dear photon owners. I have the photon, not the S, one rail. Where’s the best place to get the replacement lcd screen? I’m seeing the screens listed as photon going for $70 on amazon, and the photon S going for less. I think $50. Any help will be appreciated.

For some reason when I print models from a specific sculpted I get artifacts and floaters that cause the print to end up looking like a mess. Any ideas what would be causing this? I have tried the following: re-slice the file, cleaned out the tank, changed FEP, and tried a different bottle of resin (Elegoo grey). This model is supposed to be a scythe from a techno demon.
