I keep having this issue on the right side of the printer. Tons of odd layer lines and these strange goopy sheets of odd printing mayhem. I changed the fep, releveled, reshootkand filtered the resin, cleaned out the vat and still this.... looks like a potential lcd issue? But I just replaced that a few months ago...

I tried to search and only found people having similar issues. Long post ahead I'm sorry.

I attempted to use mesh mixer yesterday for a print. I was using MM so I could hollow better than chitubox which is pretty bad in comparison.

I used the auto supports and they seemed pretty awesome from initial looks with only needing a few added. I couldn't get supports correct in MM so I added through chitu and it came out looking solid.

Here is where my issue lies. The supports on MM are pretty thick and came too close to my model. they ended up fusing together and make it almost impossible to remove without hours of work and breaking/ cracking. I even broke out a dremel to speed their removal up.

Is there a way to edit the auto supports and pull them a little further from the body? I quite like how well they worked and how much time they saved initially. But overall they didnt help much looking at how long ill be trimming my model.

Should I just hollow in MM and then add my supports manually in CB? Putting internal supports in CB is pretty time consuming and difficult for me as a newb.

Thanks all for the help.

Here is the Ameralabs calibration part printed on my photon s. This is using Anycubic’s eco resin grey, how can I improve on this?

Man, this printer is cool. Simple sculpt in Blender, now a nice little head no bigger than a marble.

Finally feel like I'm getting it dialed in. The photo doesn't do it justice

FDM pieces were printed on my Creality CR-10 at 0.1mm using Hatchbox Gray.
Anycubic Photon at .05mm using Elegoo ABS-like Gray for the heads and hands.

I printed everything at 100%, but the resin pieces are slightly larger in scale. Anybody ever run into this before? Or any ideas why that’s the case?

Hello everyone! I just had a question about Lauer heights. Is it necessary to change exposure settings for smaller layer heights?

I’ve had a few failed prints in the last two days, I noticed a rough spot on the fep. I had a pretty basic print fail twice now by getting stuck to the fep with a decent base still stuck to the plate.

What are signs of a failing FEP? It had no holes and does not leak. As I said, it had developed a cloudy rough spot which will not clean out even with acetone. Thoughts?

Has anyone ever DLP printed compression springs before? Or is that better off with PLA? Or does it just not work at all?

The springs don't need to last forever or be super strong.

Does it damage your print to leave it on the build plate to long after it finishes? I’m debating on running prints over night but was not sure if it’s bad for the print and/or printer to leave it suspended for 2-4 hours without cleaning and curing.
