Hi guys, after your opinions. After doing the exposure test, it looked like 10-11s were my sweet spot, so printed the AmeraLabs test to see the differences. Left is 10s, right is 11s. Anycubic Grey Resin 0.05 layer height.

I like the 10s however noticed that they both have their flaws, such as the "space needle" not printing properly (head of it is missing) and the H on top of the building both didn't print out well.

I'm 99.98% positive this isnt possible, but never hurts to ask.

Is there a way to build in a pause in a print at a specific layer or height?
One that might allow me to slip in a capture magnet or not, or change resins without having to keep a timer and a close eye on it it get in a specific place in the print?

Just got my photon S (upgraded supposedly but I don’t see anything in the menu that the upgraded S is supposed to have) and did an LCD test. This is what I got. It didn’t match the test square at all. PLEASE tell me this is correct and I didn’t just get a huge piece of worthless junk right out of the box??? ?

I've printed a dnd miniature (28mm) with the resin that came with the printer (anycubic green clear)and I found that the miniatures break very easily, is the a resin (or mixture) that is more resistant?

Hi all. First time post with a first time print!

This was after two failed attempts to get the base exposure right but I’m astounded by the detail in this 50mm figure.

No prizes for guessing which model I’m building - the terrible original Darth gives it away!

Model was downloaded from Sketchfab - thanks Stym - and rigged and posed using Mixamo once I had removed the cloak in Cinema 4D.

Then into Chitubox after lots of reading of this great group and lots of YouTube, and third time lucky with the good old free green from Anycubic.

I’m now encouraged to model the rest of the cockpit and console. Plus greeblies and other bits!

Any ideas?

I've printed a few nice things so know my machine is calibrated well, but can't figure out what I've done wrong here...

It seems it suddenly started sticking to the FEP as there's a bunch of stuff stuck to it at the bottom now (I'd just cleaned it before printing).

Okay so I tried manual supports for the first time. I'm using 3D Printing Pro's support settings, but I didn't do the bottom-to-top method he used because I can't quite "see" islands that way like he does. Instead, I scanned thru layer by layer and placed supports under islands I spotted growing by viewing from above, then zoomed around/below for red spots and placed more. Some questions:
1) These are mostly heavies. Are some too long on the horizontal? I tried to do what he says where you append supports off other supports to avoid pinning them to the model.
2) Under the base, it's not clear to me where I need to place them since everything is red, hence why there are a zillion there. Same for the HeroForge lettering... I just put supports inside every letter. Any tips? 翻譯年糕
