Just got my Photon today. Stupid question for you all... did your photon come with styrofoam inside it? I'm sure it's there to protect the components, I am just curious how you got it out without damaging anything as, at least in this case, it surrounds every single component

Well I finally have a chance to set up and try and print for the first time. And nothing.
No matter which slicer, or file format I output nothing prints. . photon files say unknown format, as do .pws. .photons says done immediately and then raised bed to crash into the top of z axis.
Is this a firmware issue?

Next question... I've downloaded and followed the instructions for firmware update. And nothing. It ignores the files on boot, and if I select them once loaded just says unknown file type. Any advice?

Hi guys. I’m seriously looking at getting a Photon. Anycubic are selling the basic one with free delivery for £198 on eBay and the cheapest Photon S on eBay is £319 with free delivery. Is the S a lot better then the basic. Thanks ?
