There could be a small puncture that normally is not visible, but when the build plate comes up to pull a layer free of the FEP is revealed. There is a lot more tension on the FEP when the build plate pulls at it.

The red background doesn’t help, but I assume it’s yellowed? Normally a sign of over-curing or over-post-curing. What did you wash it with? I got much clearer clear prints with Monocure ResinAway than IPA wash.

Ashley Cobb yeah its yellowed quite a lot. Washed in IPA. I was thinking maybe 4 minutes was too long but the base is solid so thought it may need the extra time. I'm assuming no miracle varnish will bring this back?!

I’ve been through a 5L bottle of clear resin so yeah, many trays of resin dumped out... ha

Put it in hydrogen peroxide then set it in your uv curing box or whatever. Doing take out the yellow. Make sure model is completely covers in the liquid

Lee Rogers I don't mean cheap so much in the cost you'll pay, as they'll charge whatever people will pay, but cheaply made, the trade off is better cure times with these. Monocure clear for instance is pretty long cure time for a clear resin, but it doesn't yellow at all. But yeah this is just a property of the chemicals they opted to use.

Lee Rogers I just use what I get at the grocery store. Use it all the time to restore yellowed plastic parts. I can't guarantee it works with all resins though.

3% works for most things But it will likely vary depending on the resin brand. Good luck.

It it's just random extra tiny layers, that is frame shearing. You will have to update your firmware to get rid of that.

If layers not quite sticking to each other (delamination), that's a sign of under exposure.

What are your settings ? Especially the Layer settings

I had this happen when I left a part that was washed but not post cured in an area with ambient daylight for several days.

The wierd thing is the next batch was fine. Maybe I forgot them lying in indirect sun light too long or something

Yes, wheels and tyres but soon body parts. I do the tyres in tpu. I also do a track conversion for 4x4 s with pla parts and tpu tracks.

Unless u mean the bare metal.. thats stock on a photon s... you can just sand your anodized photon buildplate if you have issues with adhesion..

They used to work. Then stopped working. Then beginning fw 5 they worked again and now they don't. That's why all the contradicting information.

Rik de Reus , I'm using V5.02 with my Photon (not S) and .pws and .photon working normaly. Is there any difference between the S version and the common version?

I just checked on mine and it's kinda random. Sometimes the .photon files show up and sometimes they don't. This is on 5.0.2 also.

Very strange .... for me, until now, the files generated by chitubox have always appeared.

If you have overfilled with resin you may have some in the ball socket. If so you need to strip it all down and clean it.

Take the assembly apart, there are a few screws on the inside that are probably loose. Also, back the grub screw all the way out and stick the Allen key back down to see if you installed the spare screw on top of the preinstalled one.
