Mia Kay Bentzien I just pulled the first two new ones off the printer and a few of the supports separated from the model. I’ve only been at this for a few weeks and I’m having a hard time getting these settings right.

Oo, I love the firey fella and the bear; where’d you get those? I recognize the warforged and wolf man in the back!

The fire weird is from thingiverse. I found it searching 28mm. The bear is by Mia Kay at M3DM, also available on thingiverse. Also, I’m surprised you recognize the warforged since it’s part of a brand new Kickstarter.

Exposure settings champ. It is sliced to suit anycubic trans green. As you are running grey which is opaque, you will need to up exposures. Search for resin exposure test on thingiverse. Read it, study it. Then adjust the settings to suit your resin/machine. What grey is it?

Hi Damian ! I see you got your package. Not sure I have ever seen that particular failure.

Sorry I just read it again. I would start your exposure 9secs per layer on normal.

You wpuld need to re slice that file though

What's the room temperature? Did you shake the resin well?

Exposure time, it looks like. For grey, I’d say 8-9 seconds a layer is a good place to start. Also, make sure your build plate is tightened and doesn’t wobble; give it a test jiggle before each print and retighten/level as needed.

Yeah I found a bug, don’t select another model while in the support tab, it crashed 4/5 times.

If I have a 5 part model what do I do?

Bruno L'Archeveque I set up one mini. Supported it. Saved as a project. Next mini. Supports. Save as project. Etc. Then opened each project and sliced. Just make sure you have fixed any islands with file validator...first few times I found an island...had to clear the plate...load the one mini project. Add support. Save as project. I think you get the picture...kinda putzy but it works

I really struggled with Anycubic Clear as well. Blue worked fine but my clear always failed. Finally went with monocure rapid clear, works great. Usually need a higher initial exposure

Is it that much cheaper than Amazon? I order from Amazon and I get it next day.

I don't think any prior experiences with shipping are going to be accurate based on the current circumstances.

Dan Gump it is also possible that Amazon will delay your shipment if deemed non-urgent. At least that’s what I keep hearing. I have not verified that.

I retract that comment. They are limiting INCOMING shipments to their warehouses. So essentially if they have it in stock they’ll still send it to you, but only til they run out.

lots of people say never order directly from anycubic. ive switched to egeloo resin. very happy with it.

Nah, I had a webcam that was originally scheduled for delivery this past Monday. It's now scheduled for Sunday, and I'm not holding my breath about it.

Shipping is critical infrastructure. UPS/Fedex/and USPS are still working as "normal".

Nick Neal true, but can the truckers get through, many states closed rest stops, repair shops, restaurants drive through only.

Theodore Peckler idk about repair shops but most everything is still open out here they just stopped dine in. Most restaurants, chains at least, are open and doing take out only. I saw plenty of semi trucks on the freeway today and all of my shipments continue to track their way through the state.

Anything ordered from anycubic website comes from their facility in china. They have no US affiliates except amazon...good luck

So you've ordered a Chinese-made Item . . . . From China? I say 'from China' cos it's almost a 100% certainty that US stocks are all but depleted at this stage of the proceedings.

I'm in the UK and it took 10 days to get One Litre that was less than 600 miles and 2 countries away.

Theodore Peckler my shipments do that even when the world isn't ending haha. I've had stuff come in to the state, then go to Colorado, then come back to California. Regardless, nothing in any of them is of any importance. If it's late it's late.

No. The stl format is pretty limited and contains no metadata to define what is support, original mesh etc.

Much like how gcode won't allow you to produce a mesh - its simply a series of move instructions.

Ah well. That makes things... difficult.

Your best bet...probably...is to use meshmixer to poke about with the mesh.

Go to the 3 lines at the top left and save as a project. That should let you reopen it and work on it. Then just slice and save the STL when you need to print.

You can save the model as a project with supports, and then come back and edit that.

+1 for all the above..I try to keep the original pure 'blueprint' in Projects, rework it if I need to then when diced and sliced export it to a 'ready to print' file..try to maintain a sequence / filing system...

If you start the print, you can change the settings on the printer itself. Just press the cog icon and adjust the timings.

I was unaware of the above, always just ran the validated file again and adjusted settings on the save screen.
