Is it good idea to pause the printer and lower the hotend temperature so I can continue the print tommorwo? Or is it better to just let it finish the work?

Let it finish will be better.

So, good and bad things. The good: I finally managed to have a successful dual color print. It was a small print with blue and white PLA, hotend at 200 degrees, bed at 70, no glue and speed of 50 mm/s. I then decided to print something larger, I only replaced the filament spools positions, so the blue will sit on E0 and the white on E1. I used similar settings. During the printing the wipe pillar begun to bend so I lowered the bed to 50 degrees. The pillar detached from the bed at one point and I tried to save the print by glueing it back, with partial success, until the model also detached right when it reached the white layer, and at that point I stopped it since nothing more could be done to save it. Some time before the failure both extruders had some weird noise. I decided I'm done printing for today and unloaded both filaments so I can pack them. At this point, and as the extruder picture show, I noticed the connector for the bowden pipe kind of displaced and on it's screwing part there's white stuff. I did not tried to dismantle it for fear of more damage but right now I can't load filament to E1.. What could have caused it? Can the extruders heat up enough for the plastic to melt and ooze out of the connector? How can I fix this?

Wipe tower broke during middle of printing.. Other than that kinda better attempt for dual color printing.. The white filament sit on E1 and it's first layer was not the best.. Should both filaments be loaded fully to the hotend when dual color printing via Cura or should they be loaded to -120 mm from the hotend like Simplifay? How can I improve it? How to prevent the wipe tower from detaching again?

make the brim bigger and z-hop higher. by the way, dont use glue when u heat the bed.

I did not use brim.. will try. And why not using glue? Some of my prints fail if I don't use it

Dual color printing with Cura: I've looked at the manual given in the pinned post in this group and followed it. Yet so far every dual color printing I tryed as failed. My question is: at the advanced tab in Cura, should I change "Dual extrusion switch amount" to 120? I know Simplify need the filaments to be at position -120 mm for dual color prints. And if it does need to be set to 120, should both filaments be at that position or just the second one? Also does that work the same for when the second extruder has support materials like PVA?

1. just download the official cura setting profile. 2. put the filament as photo. 3. u can check the support setting. it depends which side u loading the pva.

Should both filaments be loaded all the way? I tried that once but the printer did not switch well between E0 and E1 as E0 filament was still too close to the hotend. Do i need to change the Dual extrusion switch amount to 120 when slicing?

Some help please. Why does this happen? Printing with PLA at 210 degrees, bed at 50 degrees. Was cleaned and recalibrated before printing. initial layer height 0.3, initial speed 30 mm/s. Rest of the settings are: Speed - 50 mm/s layer height - 0.1 infill - 20% shell thickness - 0.8 bottom/top thickness - 0.8

the red light shouldn't be on. z-offset too low.

Need a bit of help. This is a part I tried to print yesterday. It is 1 mm tall and has 120 mm width and 80 mm length. I added brim since on first try it disconnected from the bed, on second try in the middle of the first layer however the magnetic bars of the printer disconnected and I needed to emergency shut down it. What could have coused this? It was calibrated well and several prints before were successful without any problem.

try re-auto level? i suspect the gear or belt problem.

Failed again, one magnetic bar disconnected again and one of the fans was displaced.. I think a nut may have broke..
