My youngest son loves movies with giant monsters and robots so I've started printing the Jaegers from Pacific Rim. The first one printed perfectly I think. I printed with .05mm layers and my son is very happy. I'm also very happy with the quality from this printer.

Robot first print on anycubic! Solid one
adhesive was too much so the part of plate sticked to a resin is this normal?

Hi folks! I have the photon since a week or so, and for every print I get these layer shifts in the bottom part. As you can see in the photo's (the woman body print shows it very well) the upper part of the print doesn't have these layer shifts. The base of the robot miniature should actually be totally flat.
I've checked the Z axis, and at has no play. I found it was very tight and I needed some force to put the bed-holder back in the rail. Could that be the issue? Should I maybe loosen it a bit?
I'm using Chitubox as a slicer btw.

Latest successful prints - Replacement darts for the shoulder-mounted rocket launchers on a giant batman robot toy. Not mine, thankfully. The thing's as tall as my three-year-old.

Only took me about 20 minutes to get the basic form of the dart modelled in Fusion360. I then spent over 3 hours fiddling around trying different head designs......

Printed off four options to test-fit. As long as they work, next batch will be as many as I can fit on the build plate.

I suspect the Monocure Rapid Blue that I've used will be a little too brittle to work well. Maybe this is the excuse I've been looking for to buy some Flex that I can throw into the mix.

Hi all, got a question about tolerance for the group. I’ve got a project I’m gonna be doing that will have some slip fit tolerances, it’s a robotics project. I need to keep my parts pretty sturdy, so I’ll probably order some of the blue resin that’s the one member has said good things about, sorry I can’t remember your name at the moment. I’ve not had time to do a lot of experiments with my printer, I have it at work so I can’t work with it on weekends right now, and don’t want to bring it home till it warms up. So for the people that have experimented a lot, is the photon capable of staying within .005”in in tolerance?

Not related to resin printers, just wanted to show...its robot dog, like Boston Dynamics "Big Dog" which I worked on last month. Still need to figure out programming and platform i will use.
Im open for critics about visual apperance! :)
It will be putted on Thingiverse, i hope till end of this week...

What is the best way (orientation) to print hollow cylinders in the photon? I'm trying to print basic robot legs (small), but the prints keep failing (warped or breaking off). I could've swore there was an auto-orientation fewture in Chitubox, but I guess I was wrong. Any advise is greatly appreciated. ?
