Some advice please
Trying to replace my screen and man it’s fiddly
I watched the anycubic vid a few times and thought I’d have a go

I feel like I’ve got the power attachment into the motherboard
It clicks in and sits flush but my uv test still suggests I’ve not done it right
Any Suggestions?

Is this something we can do on our resin printers? How do I go about getting my figure to sit flat on the platform? When I click supports button it automatically lifts the figure up

Got a weird one, so haven't used printer in a week, turn it on and all the print files have no preview, i click on them and states unable to read file. I dont use the original drive unit came with, i have tried 2 other drives that i know work. And same thing. Heres the kicker, i tried reflashing the firmware and it read the bin files.

I think I'm finally getting this manual support thing down. I initially wanted an easy one click solution but I dont really think that's the best way to go anymore. After watching a ton of videos about islands and supporting I finally feel like I have a grasp of how the machine builds a model and can attack it from the ground up.

Hello gang,

I am using anycubic black 1l in a photon, and after cleaning using ipa Max 10m , washing with soapy water and 15m curing, my piece are perfect except they are easy to break, you really need to work on it to break it but i was printing clips to lock cables together and the all broke.

Wrong type of resin? To mutch curing? What do you think...

So got my Photon Zero yesterday with some minor issues and installed the software for it and sliced a file to pw0 format but on the printer's screen when I go to select the file the file name is there but there's no image. Click on it and gives me an error message then the other two files lose their image as well.

Any others encounter issues like this? I'm using the included jump drive as for some odd reason it wouldn't recognize any of mine and just locked up once even.

I've been off facebook for a while and haven't printed anything even longer. I just updated to Chitubox 1.6.3 and is it just me or is it terrible?
Rotate options are 90 degrees or 0.5 degrees. No more 5 degree steps Auto support adds a kajillion supports Adding supports whose base touches the model is a full pillar that clearly can't be clipped What are you guys doing now? Are there settings for Chitubox I should be using? Or should I try to find something else? 翻譯年糕

Hey everyone.

I want to spoil my Photon with some upgrades and I plan to start with the genius PTC Heater Unit by Vinicius Silva .

I have chased down the PTC Heater and the Thermostat on Amazon, but I'm not sure what sort of PSU to get.

I know that Silva and those who have built it recommend a 12V 10+A 120W unit, but here's my thinking.

These PTC heaters are meant to warm up cars in cold climates, right?

I have my printer indoors, so I just need to bump up the temperature a few degrees to a more ideal 24-30 °C.

Shouldn't I be able to reach the needed temperatures with a weaker power source?

The Youtube clip below mentions that it works just fine with a 12V 5A power supply as the 12V 100W PTC heater only needs to work at a 50W capacity to reach the desired temperature inside the printer.

What do you think?

If it's not obvious from my post, I'm asking as I'm quite clueless when it comes to electricity....
