so I cannot see a model in chitubx without running with nvidia instead of my regular onboard graphics card. I did not by right clicking the icon and the option of video card selection was present.. Now its not. there is no option with right clicking, or shift right clicking the startup file, any suggestions?

What is the best way to get supports off of minis? I';m using some mini clippers and i just feel like i cant get all the way through without destroying the base.

Also, with the angle chart that is posted in the group, is that the angle i'm supposed to put in to the y rotate, or is it suppoosed to be 1 - that angle?

Hello fellow Photonsters. Just another day in my unending love-hate relationship with the Photon. This is a piece I'm working on to be cast in silver. One side is perfect. However the other side, the support side, is all drippy and deformed. What could I be doing wrong? --- I'm using Anycubic Grey Layer: 0.03mm - Bottom Layers: 8 - Bottom exposure: 80s - Normal exposure: 13s - Also using Chitubox about 40 degrees inclination and medium supports.

Making a little sugar shovel and a gardening rake for a client, that's going to be cast next week. You can shovel away as much of sugar as your heart desires...and then hide the evidence with the rake ? Yesssss, it's nice to do something a bit "bigger" than set 1mm stones and then spend a good portion of the day trying to find the 10+ fallen buggers somewhere among the land of dust and metal bits...oh, the memories. Soon I'll have time to create my own projects again, can't wait! Hope you guys are doing good ?

Hi guys.

I'm hoping to get some advice as far as supports go. I started this print. Failed because I missed my alarm to add more resin...

I did still pull the print and clean it up just to learn from it. Clipping that many supports was painful. I just used chitubox support defaults.

Could a print this large have succeeded with less supports?

Also I went with hollowing to 3mm walls. The print that came out is extremely sturdy. Would you have gone with thinner walls?

I am thinking for the next attempt that I will cut each piece in half horizontally so that I can have the majority of supports on the flat faces.

Only my third print but I am amazed at the quality I'm getting from this printer.

So, I tried to print the "ameratown_peopoly_50u_8xB80_15.photon" file after opening it in the file photon file validator . Just opened it clicked save, changed just the normal exposure time from 8 seconds to the recommended 12 for my resin, changed file name and saved. Tried to print but after 2nd layer it was obvious that the file was corrupt "image shifted or Frame Shearing?". Question, How do you modify an existing Photon files exposure settings and save as new file without corrupting the file itself? Running the stock "8 second" file right now with the 8 second exposure without any shifting nor frame issues......

Recently in installing a new 2K LCD screen under warranty from Anycubic on my Photon, my main board went bad.. and in a series of emails.. the clip on the front touch screen clip broke where the ribbon clips in from the main board. So Anycubic sent me a new main board, a new front Touch screen (had me keep the 2K LCD screen they sent to me) and two new fans as they were both making noises (I installed the lower fan (that vents the electronics chamber but have not been able to install the "filter" fan from the resin chamber yet as I am not figuring out how to do. So, I followed the instructions for installing the main baord for the Photon too. But now I got a white lit up blank "front LCD touch" screen on the front of the Photon.. so I can't even test the rest of the installations with the main board and the 2k LCD screen. ? 翻譯年糕

Im new to this so bear with me. My models seem so brittle that when I cut off the supports the surrounding areas crack and break off when I cut off the supports. Im dealing with mico model stuff. I try to be as careful and steady when I remove them, but have some difficulty in this process. I am curing them outside in the sun for a half hour, as I don't have a UV light setup at this time. Can someone suggest what the heck it is that I am doing wrong. I am using brand new clippers.
