A lot of people must come here, having just bought/about to buy a photon and wonder why the hell everyone's is breaking.

Remember guys, most of us are spooling off awesome prints. You'll get there.

This is my latest, an m3a3 Stuart in 28mm from thingiverse.

Hi all thanks for the add. I purchased a anycubic photon this summer and have overall been doing really well but lately when I do a print the side of the supports will fall off the build plate leaving 3 quarters of the model still printing fine but one section goes droppy...things I've tried to fix this are as follows. Clean build plate, re level, cleaned resin tray , cleaned the LCD glass the resin tray sits on. I feel that maybe the squares that attach to the build plate are not strong enough to support the beginning print which causes that small section to fall off. Can anyone tell me how to make the support squares at the bottom thicker? Or what am I doing wrong lol

Recently developed the not sticking to the plate/sticking to the fep. Happens about a quarter through the print. Bed is leveled bottom layer 5 at 100 per layer 6.5 off 15 per layer after bottom. No clue what's going on. This is a hit or miss issue which is why I'm confused on the issue.

After countless perfect prints my Photon isn't working correctly. Now the plate stops moving up and down after the first quarter to half inch of the print is printed. Has anyone else had this happen? At first I thought that maybe the resin was bad or something, but I tried again with new resin and it's still doing it. Next I might see if it's a firmware problem or maybe the USB. Anybody have any ideas?

Just want to say thank you to all those that came to my help with my Photon issues...im now printing again...ended up loosening the fep screws by around a quarter turn to tune it to around 280Hz and using VFXForges supports and everything is going well.

So, it seems my FEP problems solved themselves. Did two prints yesterday and they came out perfect.

Now I need to print a range of "coins" for a game. These are about the size of a quarter and about 1/8 inch thick.

What is the best way to position these in ChiTuBox? Both sides of these coin have protruding images, so am I best off angling the coin at like 30 degrees and adding supports, or should I just keep it upright, raised off the plate and just a few support pegs to support it?

Continued printing problems...

I have two Photons that both have the same problem. I've used Photon File Validator and the free viewer from Thingiverse that both display my prints perfectly, when I try to print I get between a quarter and a half of the print and then it stops.

If I open the print file in ChiTuBox it seems to show the print cutoff at the same point as my prints, the strange thing is if I print without supports it seems to preview fine.

Smaller print files with supports that are below 40Mb print fine, it's just larger file sizes, can anyone help?

Okay look this screen makes the fourth one I bought. This represents a quarter of the price of the anycubic photon. I got the advice off of this group to get the this screen with this model number. So someone explain to me how the projector in the bottom of my anycubic photon is supposed to send light through this piece of aluminum? I'm starting to get incredibly angry that people with the same printer I have lead me to the wrong place.
