Looking at anycubic site i fount two versions of firmware. Most recent marked as (photon s and photon upgraded),
What does mean “photon upgraded”?
What version i can use for my printer?
It seams i do have a regular Photon.
Should i use 4.2.19 for upgrade?

How to upgrade? There is no manual on this.
Firmware contains .bin and .LCD files

I am trying to change the LCD screen. I got the top glass out but it cracked. Am I supposed to take the next layer out too??

Seems like a good time for a new problem. Anyone got any ideas how to fix a Photon (non-S) where the LCD panel powers up and works fine, but all of the hardware is dead (case fans dont work, z-axis doesnt move). Ive opened up the case and made sure the ribbons are fixed in well and they seem fine, but still no good.

So I've replaced FEP and LCD Screen. What other things can I expect to replace on the Photon over time? How many prints can I expect per LCD Screen? Thanks.

Guess it's time to change the lcd screen isn't it? The problem are those lines there in the middle, or do you have any idea about what could i try to fix it?

Hey everyone. Looking for some help. I just loaded the anycubic photon software on to my computer, but it won’t load the Photon test file.

When I open PHOTON I can see the slices in the LCD viewer, but I can not seem to get the model to show up.

Any help?

Alright everyone! My LCD fan mod is finally installed and ready and appears to be working well. So for all the power users out there and everyone who wants to lengthen the lifetime of their LCDs, this is a possible approach. I hope you guys find the idea equally as interesting and exciting as me.

Hi guys, I just got my printer last weekend and I am loving it! Though I was curious if it could be expanded upon, for example I know with a fdm printer you can just get longer lead screws and was curious if that would work for a resin printer. I wasnt sure if there was any difference that would stop it from going bigger like how long the lcd could be on or stuff like that. Also I was curious are there any mods that could get this to print faster like changing the lcd to a monochromatic one or getting a different type of resin. Again I am new so this may all be simple but got to start somewhere :) Thanks again for your time to read this
