Got a question on the USB. I have seen postings where it is suggested to get a better USB thumb drive. Is the drive that comes with the printer questionable or are the files on it questionable also. Where do I go to get good files and what do I need.
Just getting ready to use the machine.

Hello everyone. Just got the anycubic photon. It’s a great printer. But I’ve been have this new issue after 3 very successful prints. I have tried everything. Re level new fep film different exposure settings etc. it prints the raft and supports fine. However the model never seems to stick to the supports. Could this be a usb issue?

Anyone get random exposure across the whole area? I've used the file validator, did a dry run, guess it could be the FEP refracting light?

Update: It was the USB stick!

I just got my Photon, and when I load the test file into my slicer, nothing shows up. I already had to download it from their site, since my USB had corrupted files.

Hi Guys I just received my printer today and made two trials (failed)

I have changed USB on the second trial to see if it could come from here and increased the exposing time bottom to 80 and 13 for normal exposition

The resin was well shaken before pouring. But both time the first 8layers seems to cute and the rest not at all !

I have left both prints to finish and this is what I found lol

Where do you think the issue comes from?

Alright... this feels like a dumb question, but in the Anycubic photon slicer, I click on open file, go to the USB stick and find the Photon.Photon file, open it and it pops up the LCD viewer. but it doesn't add it to the print box displayed on the screen. Am I missing something SUPER obvious?

I have to restart my Photon two or more times before it recognizes the USB stick. I see on the Anycubic Photon support page ( http://www.anycubic3d.com/support/show/594032.html ) there are 2 firmware versions available. The second firmware update talks about what I assume is this USB problem.

The question is: What firmware is my Photon actually running? Is this update already applied? Attached is a photo of the info page from my device but I don't see how this information correlates the the version numbers shown on the website.

Good evening. I am a new owner of a photon 3d printer. And I’m already experiencing issues that are making me regret the purchase but I will stick with it and try to trouble shoot these issues.

I have yet to print anything, because I hit an obstacle this morning. After building a curing chamber and preparing the stl files. I go to load the files and the unit became unresponsive. If I were to press the move z axis button nothing would work. If I tried to hit home nothing would work, also when the usb in plugged it acts as if it’s low on memory. What I mean is it laggin for lack of a better term. Also when I first got the usb stick the text files were not present nor could I view them when plugging into my computer (pc) anycubic has yet to return my email.

Any idea what I can do or what the problem is

Hello! I've had my Photon for ~5 weeks and today it stopped mid-print. Now, the Z motor, fans, and USB reader are non-functional. LCD seems fine, touchscreen works and buttons beep when pressed. However, the rest of the printer is non-functional. I've logged a help ticket with Anycubic. In the meantime, anyone here experience anything similar?
