Has anyone tried tinting the anycubic clear with anything? I have some parts I want to tint a specific shade of red and others blue.

Can it be done?

Inkjet printer refill ink. Cheap (full CMYK set is about 10$) and works pretty well

You can search online for proportions but a good 3-5 drops of ink will add a good stamina and keep transparency.

Used both the Monocure cmyk dye set and also Jacquard alcohol ink without issue. Definitely possible.

I put a couple of drops of Windor and Newton red ink into my clear resin and it printed a lovely translucent colour.

I’m going to try some tamiya red/blue paint I think. Worst case is it turns to sludge and I have to replace the film. Hardly a catastrophic failure

I have had my Anycubic Photon for almost a year .. used it quite a lot with good results .. but today after finishing off a batch I then I clean down the machine, changed the film and loaded a new model .. but it produced nothing .. it looks to me like the projector has gone .. there is no projected image of my model on the lens plate. All I can see are four squares on the left hand side. Is this familiar territory to anyone?

Had an interesting failure today...

Was printing a mini, and left and right the parts stuck to the buildplate, but the center where the mini was it stuck to the FEP.

What makes it weirder is that "just" before this mini, I had a print that was only on the center of the build plate and that succeeded.

Checked my FEP, it's at 300Hz so that's ok.

Cleaned my buildplate (this time manually with alcohol wipe, rather than in the Anycubic washer and let it dry)

For now I just re-leveled the printbed (home, down till I cant move buildplate, tighten, raise buildplate 0.3, set z=0.

And adjusted initial cure from 50 sec to 60.

Anything tips on what (else) I should check?

(I suspected a concave build-plate but already checked that.)

Hello all, so i just ordered the Anycubic plant based resin BLUE. I did this because the Anycubic Gray was irritating my family too much. It’s on its way to me. My printer is in my house and next to a window. I have a couple of questions from anyone on here that uses the Anycubic Plant based BLUE in particular.
1. Could you show me some of your prints with plant based resin to show off detail?
2. Would you say the smell/toxic fumes are little to none?
3. Have you found an even better/less toxic alternative?
4. Do you have any comments or suggestions for me before i receive this product and start printing?

Looking at purchasing soon. I have done research but am still undecided. I get this is an anycubic page but I'll daringly ask anyway.
For you mars and photon owners which have you favored?
Is the photon s software proprietary? I am confused because I thought photon software in general was to be more "open".
Please pardon any ignorance. Still new.

Anycubic photon zero. I’m at about 33% successful prints. I’ve tried tightening the fep, rezeroing, increasing exposure times, and today it failed in the same way, by sticking to the fep instead of the supports... but the supports printed beautifully! Any ideas?

Hello gang,

I am using anycubic black 1l in a photon, and after cleaning using ipa Max 10m , washing with soapy water and 15m curing, my piece are perfect except they are easy to break, you really need to work on it to break it but i was printing clips to lock cables together and the all broke.

Wrong type of resin? To mutch curing? What do you think...

Well going by what the anycubic tech team said I need a new motherboard. There are quite a few scattered around the net which they say are compatible and they vary so much in price. Has anybody brought one that they know works and could they provide a link please?

Unfortunately I don't. I saw one on Amazon when I was looking for LCD screens but they wanted 200 bucks for it. Thought holy cow! If I ever need a new motherboard I'm just going to Shell out an extra fifty bucks and get a whole new printer for that price. I certainly hope there's some cheaper options out there for good motherboards than that one I saw on Amazon.

So I've been in touch with anycubic support team and going by what I've been told. They are the most expensive place to get a replacement motherboard from. I don't know how that works out.
