Hi All!!! I’ve notice people use chitubox to build support for the models. Is there any reason for that other then different software that anycubic provide. Is it better? Can someone educate me on this please? Thank you

I just got my Anycubic photon zero!!!

im VERY new to resin printing... how to i get my files to be .pw0 out of chitubox? they are .photons and dont show up when i plug in my USB.... the test cub printed perfectly....

Hi, sorry for the newbie questions, but wondering if someone can help me with these?

1. I'm using water washable resin. Washing in an anycubic wash and cure. Once removed after washing, (but before curing), do I still need gloves on?

2. Just printed the second test print on the stick - the exposure test - but it was mega stuck to the plate. Broke a couple taking it off. I just hit print from the stick so not my settings, but wondering if I'm doing something obviously wrong?

3. The residue in the cleaning container is water/resin not ipa. How many times can I use same water, and becasue its water can I just dispose in drain?

I have yet to get a correct print out of my machine. Failed the test cube, and failed all other prints so far. It keeps misprinting flat segments. I had supports on the slicer program, as you can see that they started in the print, but didn’t continue. There were no pieces in the resin vat when I drained it after the fail. Anycubic black resin, anycubic photon zero. Please assist!

Hello everyone i have a problem with my photon the models stick on the fep I calibrate the printer , i took off the table cover and I have the same problem ) Resin is anycubic basic orange I use the settings 15 sec for simple layer and 120 for basic 7 layers , retraction speed is 1mm/sec . I don t know the problem is in my fep ?

Anycubic clear resin. Why has it gone yellow? I left it to cure in daylight and the longer I left it the more discolouration there seemed to be.

Hello folks!
Thanks a lot for many precious tips avilable here.

Conducting tests to improve printing size up to up to 1 mete r!
Since my Photon is under maintenance (dued to wobble issue), I'm conducting some test in order to discover real software potential.

I modified "__dlpconf_" file to following machineSize values (mm): X:68.04 Y:120.96 Z:1000
In simple terms I tried modify Photon printer profile in order to achieve printed piece up to 1 meter. Anycubic Photon Slicer V1.3 software allows slicing "oversized" STL model and I got *.photon file (2.8 Gb!).
After launching file print comes test failure : Printer lowers its platform to home (I manually simulate home to sensor) but printer keep lowering instead of printing. (Video shows test)
Printing progress goes from 1% to complete without any printing process. Do you think printer firmware (Photon 5.5, V4.2.3_LCD) allows "oversized" printing? In case answer is "NO" do you know about open source software I could install on printer allowing custom profiles?

First successful print, pretty happy with it overall. Any tips on getting the quality up? I'm seeing visible layer lines and some of the finer details look a little muddled. Printed on the anycubic green and primed grey. 13s exposure time and .05 layer height.

Hello everyone and thank you for accepting me in the group.

Together with a colleague of mine we are carrying out a project that has as its initial process 3d printing using the Anycubic Photon printer.

We made resin rings containing miniature cities printed in 3d and plated with precious materials, if you think it could be an appropriate content for this group I'd like to post some results of the work to get some feedback from people in the sector.
