Hello all, started making silicone moulds of my casts.

One of the moulds failed and didn't cure with the silicone. Maybe the model wasn't cured enough, same resin as other models which I had success with.

Would priming it with paint solve this issue? Or should I do an acrylic clear coat?

How do I scoop out the bottom of a base that's solid resin using meshmixer, chitubox, or even the prusa slicer?

I bought an Anycubic Photon S for the production of jewelry using castable resins, looking for direct casting, but I am having problems with the definition of the prints of the pieces, which for the most part may contain 0.5 mm detail.

I would like to kindly ask for advice from the most experienced members, on which resins can give me the best results and physical changes that can improve the quality of the print.

I've got a short story, and a need for recommendations.

So, my boss asked me to start working on a project involving 3D printers. He had an old FDM printer that finally bit the dust, and asked me about resin printers. I have been using my Photon since around Christmas and love it. Per said boss's request, the last few work days have consisted of me doing research that I have already done and typing up a "report" of my findings that I already knew about. This is the part that I need recommendations on. I use the Elegoo Grey resin since I print and paint minis, but would need to use a bright colored resin for what I will be printing for my job. We do construction testing so orange, yellow, and red would be the preferred colors. What colorful resins have people had a lot of success with and would recommend that I use?

Will re-slicing a .photon(s) file affect quality?

I've got a good .photons file with support etc. where I need it. But I want to print it with different resin, so I need to slice it with the correct settings. Is this possible, or will it affect quality when the starting file is not a .stl ?

Soo I’m really confused. I ordered my printer about two weeks ago now and since then have been using the tracking app they suggest to see the status. The app says it has shipped, but then last night I got this email saying the Photon is out of stock.

To further confound the issue, I had been trying to message them multiple times in multiple ways (2 different emails and over the FB messenger) to ask if I can choose the colour of the resin that comes with the printer without any response. So I am unsure of whether this is just a hoax email or if it is legitimate.

Edit: Also, their website shows the 4Max Pro as being out of stock, but not the Photon.

My experience with ANYCUBIC has pretty much been complete garbage from the beginning, so I’m about ready to cut my losses and switch to something like the ELEGOO Mars. Any suggestions?

Does ANYBODY know what could be the problem with this?

It seems that the bottom layers don’t print in the black ones.
It just skips them...
The colored, are the ones that they printed correctly some months ago.

Resin Anupycubic, slicer Photon Workshop, basic settings in setup.
I print them stuck on the plate.
I updated the firmware and I leveled it really tight. I use a good usb.
Any comments?

How do you cure big flat pieces without warping?

I'm making a lithophane lampshade in pieces for my girlfriend, they're 90-degree arcs and I need them to keep their curvature and shape to fit together correctly.

Sirayatech Fast Grey resin, Elegoo Mars Pro, printed vertically.

Hallo, today i made my second print with a minuature, and it failed again.
Here are the pics of my settings and, of course, from the failure. I use the green anycubic resin.
Hope you guys can help me.
The testfile from thingieverse worked fine, so i think its on me and maybe my setting of the supports?
