Hi, can anybody help me please? I am noob in resin printing and have my photon just few weeks. Everytime I prepare more models for print my photon prints just some of them or just their fragments and non printed parts end sticked in the vat. When I try to print it separately it prints fine. Is my setup bad? I have tried different slicers with same result. Thanks a lot for advice guys!

Hooray! Another successful print!!

I did have a failure half way through the first time due to some supports failing, but I went right back in and added more and BAM! Cartoon style Bob Ross ladies and gentlemen!!

To be perfectly honest he kinda looks like a grown up version of Pinnochio pursuing a career in art lol I just could not find any true likenesses of Bob Ross!!!

Oof the black resin isn’t as phototogenic as the grey!! Gonna have to get my primers, paints and brushes and push these prints into photography quality ASAP!!

Does anyone have experience with Formfutura new engineering resins (heavy duty for LCD). Would like to hear thoughts. Mainly used Siraya Blue and Ifun Tough for printing functional components) Both very nice materials (especially Ifun Tough - very well priced - c.a. 70€/L and large stock in europe vs. Siraya). Now i am looking at Formfutura because they are my local supplier for filaments and like to support them, allthough the price is a little high, the mech. properties look promising. I produce mainly functional components for machine building.

Like to hear experiences if there are any

Alright. I have used the search function and i just need some confirmation.
Made and designed this stamp for a client. (Not the logo, vector was supplied)
It's 65mm high and 32mm in diameter. came to 30ml of resin in anycubic black.
From what i have read, am i right to charge around $30?
$1 per/ml...

(Yes i know it's not mirrored imprint ? )

Does anyone have experience with PrimaCreator Value Flex Resin?
I have used their normal resin for a while now, and I'm a fan.
Not the best in regards to details, but still very good, it cures extremely fast, and it's cheap and easily available locally for me.
It is tougher than average, and very tough with thicker parts, but I mostly print minis, so ...
I used to use a Monocure Rapid/Flex mix (at about 75/25), with great results, but the price difference is very noticeable, and it prints much slower.
The Monocure mix was far superior for durability on smaller parts though, and I was hoping the PrimaCreator Flex might be a proper alternative here?

Problem solved. LCD wasn't secure due to modding.

Alright experts. I flipped my lcd and just install the twin upgrade.

I tried printing the calibration file and get this.

The bottom layers sticks and comes out perfect, but the actual details don't stick to the bottom layer. You can see part of it peeling off. Before I try to figure it out myself.

What do you think the problem is? There is a super thin layer of uncured resin between the layers. The base layer is very well cured. The layers that fall off are cured pretty well.

1. Fep tension

2. Leveling issue

3. Fep protective layer? Doubttt it

4. Exposure too low......or too high.

Update1:

I thought about it....I kinda think the base layer is cured so well that it's shrinking and the next layer is too thick and cures well but leaves a thin layer of uncured resin between the layers...this is what I'm guessing. I need to change the base exposure for the calibration file ...if this is the reason....the base layer is so well cured that I can snap it cause it's so hard.

Update2: thanks to two advanced risk taking members the problem was the lcd screen was flexing while printing.
