Should I add more resin, or do you think it's enough?
Btw, you too can print with this beautiful resin by mixing Siraya Easy with a little Blu and some inks. ;)

OK! Successful print of another Baby Yoda in Anycubic Black!!

Yes I know he is missing a hand and another finger and part of his ear!!!

I did put supports on the left hand but forgot to put the supports on his right hand. My error not the printers.

The ear snapped off when I cut the supports because I was holding the snippets the wrong way!!! Again, my error, not the supports/printer.

Anyway, before I cut the supports I washed him off in this new water tight clip container and used a metal mesh cup for easy removal!!!
Rinsed it off in some Luke warm water...heh. Patted it dry and proceeded to cut the supports and raft off.

Put him in the tanning booth for about 2 minutes per side (front and back) then I used the dremel and some sandpaper to flatten the base, rinsed it in the water again to get off any of the resin dust and voila!!

Hi there!
Question / Help:
Has anybody else experienced this in a print before? I checked the FAQ and googled it, but no luck.
A random rectangular hole in the print, and bizarre fibres coming out on the inside in a different location and layer height almost as if it was printed with an FDM printer... it's very strange :/
Yet to have a single print that wasn't the anycubic test model actually print without something weird like this

Just a trial print, just to see how it goes printing the whole model, not in parts. Height about 7cm. Not the best model tho.

Printed with original Anycubic green trans resin, and primed.

Yea, I broke one finger while removing supports.

But as I say, it's a test print.

Ok so now that I got the plate levels and Baby Yoda printing in the new black resin, I am going through some of my STLs that I had previously done in Chitubox

Chitubox is great but when I do auto supports it puts WAY too many!!

The Anycubic software that comes on the USB stick seems to be a lot more intuitive about support placement. It puts a good amount, but it gives you some room to put more if you need to.

After I did auto supports on this swole Pikachu, I added a few more to create the cross pieces for added support.

I added the ones for the tail, legs and the ears myself.

Let me know what you guys think!!!

I had a ton of trouble getting prints to stick no matter what method of bed leveling or resin I used so I decided to sand my bed. Haven't had a single failed print since then but now I can't get the prints off the bed lol. Its a better problem to have but still a problem.

Any tips on how to remove prints off of a sanded bed?
