Anyone have an idea what might be happening here? Getting extra pieces of resin on prints, lines in the prints, not finishing parts or not printing at all. Lots of extra chunks floating in the vat. Also one looked like it was cooked in half. I've adjusted the fep, replaced it, leveled leveled leveled, cleaned and strained the resin. Updated firmware, tried a new USB stick.. It just started doing this really bad recently. Lcd looks like it's working OK. Forgot to add:this is a 90 second bottom layer 15 second normal. Also tried everywhere up to 110 bottom with no change.

want to thank you guys for all the help...i went from nothing working to about 15 -20 prints in a row with no fails, but i decided the resin printer wasnt for me. A good friend of mine added it as his 5th photon and i took his CR10s off of his hands. Thanks for all the help

So, here's another one for you gaming miniature geeks like me; which is your preferred resin for durable, elastic miniatures, that can handle being played with?

Can you wash a microfiber cloth in a washing machine after using it to clean resin and then do a cleaning wash of the washing machine before using it like normal or is that "bad"?

Hi everyone, one more printed model with Photon printer. Sculpted in zbrush the Mr. Meeseeks. Using the standard setting with AA green resin.
After assembling and cleaning all parts, and applying base primer to the coming painting job.

Quick question, what is the amount of resin that you are suppose to put in the vat on the photon. About to start adding siraya tech tenacious to my resin for less brittle prints

I'm interested in printing miniatures and I'm sure this has been asked before will what resin is the best for this application? I'm interesting in something that somewhat flexible so small details like swords or weapons won't be broken off as soon as they're bent slightly.

I've also just recently read that some people are mixing their resins together to get a hardness and flexibility that is somewhere in between the two.

I see they're super flexible resins that are ridiculously expensive and I see that there are super hard resins that may be somewhat riddle it's like I need something in between that but I can't afford to mix those two particular ones. What I'm mostly trying to avoid is super brittle prints.

UPDATE
here is a paladin mini from wizards of the coast I have that was made in 2005 look how flexible the sword still is I can bend it this way with my finger and I definitely don't feel like it's going to break.

Had my proton for about two months now and I'm continually Blown Away by what it's capable of. Yeah.. Resin printers have some limitations but the things that you can do are pretty amazing. Printed his tractor for my father, try not to criticize my painting skills too much lol. Then I found this rose on thingiverse I just had to try. I didn't have enough red resin left to do a whole lot of anything so I took some clear and mixed what little red I had left. Ended up with this nice pink color. I was super skeptical on that Rose. I figured with the petals being so thin it would just all end up stuck to the bottom of it but it actually printed really nice.
