Anyone have experience with rub'n buff paint on the flexible resin prints? I was wondering if the paint would just end up cracking.

I have used it on really thin foam before that would move and bend. The rub and buff didn't crack or anything but I also had the smallest amount on them as well.

For replacing the film on a photon, if we start seeing small indents and imperfections (other than what looks like small scratches) should we replace the film before it tears? Or are there other signs to look for to know when it's time?

So I got a request to post the STL's for some of the low poly pokemon models I did if anyone is interested, it's on my etsy store for a dollar per model to help me get on my way to finishing the next 25.

A little off from what this group is about but I know that DnD Minis are very prevalent in the lives of SLA printers but I was looking around and need an opinion on if there's room in the market or even demand for low poly dnd models?

Supportless prints seem really underated, I feel like if artists knew about the printing constraints and designed accordingly we could have a lot more higher poly awesome stl files running around with less hassle on the person printing... Though overhangs and such would always need some kind of clever design device.
Are there any predominantly supportless stl files around?

Loving the print quality I'm able to get on this Photon, managed to come up with supportless models, these just pop off the bed and go in the curing chamber.

Anyone wanna share their DIY curing chamber? I've purchased a UV led strip and a rotating disk thing as well as a carboard box, but I'm wondering how many of the led strips do we need to line the box with.

I do know that we are supposed to line the inside with tin foil or something reflective also... The uv strip is long enough to wrap the inside a couple time but it would have to spiral at an angle otherwise i'd need to run them in parallel or get a tube container instead. Advice is much appreciated.

Another question, for the more technical and programming savvy of the group... I know that for FDM printers and slicers GCODE is used to pretty much control the servos in a coordinate system (I think) and that after a while someone would be able to read it more or less and get an idea of where it's going and how fast and all that but how would the GCODE of the photon work? I've been needing to calculate quite a bit of variables off of the model I'm printing such as surface area, and mass, particularly a way to read all the layers and find the largest area slice as well as what particular layer it's printed at. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?

Does anyone stir their bottled resin instead of shaking it to prevent bubbles from forming?

I've got two models I was able to print smaller scale but they fail and get stuck to the FEP when I upscale them, same settings and models and resin... I'm not too sure what it is that's changing. Anyone else experience anything similar?
