hey all. I have a question. so I watched this video with Uncle Jessy https://youtu.be/tnGasVwkgMk . In the video, he uses alternatives to clean resin prints. So I would like to know your thoughts. Has anyone else used these alternatives? Why was IPA the goto in the first place? Do I have to use 90% or higher IPA ? The 99 cents store has, for 99 cents, 61% IPA which is, of course, much cheaper. Can I used this lower concentration and if so, what guidelines have you used to adjust for this lower concentration? Finally, whew, he never says how to dispose of used up cleaner. Same standards as before? I think that Simply Green, for example, would take ages to evaporate in the sun before the resin had a chance to be cured and was inert. Thanks in advance! 翻譯年糕

Hey there everyone! I'm super new to the resin game, and looking for a bit of community feedback. I printed out the test cube twice, once with weird warping/shifting, and again flawlessly. The only difference between the two prints is about 5°F (~3 C) in room temperature. The first print was also left on the buildplate for a few hours before processing... So does the first print appear to be a temperature issue, or possibly from leaving it on the buildplate?

I'm sorry if this is a super noob question... I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It looks like it's curing entire layers. there was a bunch of cured resin on the FEP as well. Were there particles in the vat that were keeping the build plate from going all the way down, maybe? Or maybe my settings are over exposing, and it's just leaky light from over exposure? Any help is much appreciated!

Hi everyone, i need help here, i got this fail print, does anyone knows why ? I tried 4 times and always failed at the same point, i changed fep, changed resin, changed curing time, changed position, nothing work out. It always failed at the same place.

I just tried the Elegoo clear resin and I’m getting cloudy parts after IPA and some parts are shiny. Can someone help me with what I can do to keep it from getting this cloudy? Is it the resin or user error? ?

What is this stuff!?
I’ve been printing with my Photon for about a year and never came across these paper thing bits. They don’t seem to be interfere with the actual print, I’m just left with having to peel and pull all the bits out of the vat before a do a new print.
Is this what all the “heat your resin” fuss is about? I live in SoCal and it doesn’t usually get that cold, shout it’s reached mid 60s inside while I’m away or sleeping while the printer is running (in a sealed enclosure).
My other thought was that the new Elegoo ABS like grey can’t be mixed with MonoCure Flex or other non ABS like colors, like the regular grey was fine with.
Any input is appreciated!
For reference, I've been recently experiencing this with both: Elegoo ABS like grey + Elegoo Standard Maroon (40/60-ish) Elegoo ABS like grey + Monocure Flex100 (20-25%)

Got a little sloppy last night and now I have resin above the LCD touch screen behind the protector. Any advice for cleaning it? I figure I have to take the unit apart but wondered if anyone else has had this issue.

If you need to refill the resin during a print, do you just pour in during a non curing phase or do you pause the print?
