Hi all, I need some advice on resins. I have a photon and I want to print functional parts for prototypes so I'm looking for ABS type properties. Colour is not important, neither is detail, to a point. I know I may be asking a lot but do you know of a resin that would suit me best, Thanks in advance.

So, this is probably something that others have asked, but I have gone with a probably very overkill (for the photon) blower setup for my exhaust vent. Should I consider adding an additional fan and/or vent to the build chamber? Do I need to replace the existing fan on the build chamber? My in-line blower is capable of 190CFM on a 4" hose, and is variable speed.

I do want to maintain enough of a vacuum on the build chamber to effectively make the fumes nonexistant, and have the ability to crank the blower up higher for when I pause the print to add resin to the tank and whatever other mid-build inspections.

The blower is overkill because I wanted the exhaust solution to serve both my airbrushing booth and the photon.

HELPO! :D

resin wanhao gray (long story how i get that resin but it worked fine) , also is near to end 20-30ml left!

What are the reasons why the prints are warped?(I want to know in the future not make the same mistakes)
How the temperature influenced the prints?
Is it better to remove the supports before or after curing?(it can be this a resin for warping?)
I saw that where the supports were, the quality is different (I can see big differences between those areas)

I'm surprised there isn't any mass produced heater for these printers which is why i think my prints are failing because the temperature withing the printer to keep resin temperature where it should be is not up to where it should be. I've seen ones made with a PTC fan heater on Thingiverse, which i suppose are OK until the fan fails, then from what I've seen on YT videos, thermal runaway starts and could start a fire with the filament used to hold in the PTC. Is there any out there, or plans of one being released?

I'm having some issues with warping. Could this be from too thight z-axis calibration? Ignore the warped ladder, it's just too thin, the frame is the issue here.
I oriented it at the 46.62 degrees (the bottom right corner in the picture was toward the build plate).
Settings: 0,05 13s exposure, Anycubic black resin

Hello Guys,

Been having a weird issue lately, all prints are coming out fine, but for some reason I'm getting a thin layer of cured resin on the FEP for anything I print.

This time it kind of messed up my gobo :(

You can see where the print was as there is a small "hole" at the bottom of the cured layer.

Tried dry printing the same print, everything looked ok

Print turned out mostly ok, except for some failures on the flag, I'm thinking the thin layer got in the way of my thin supports and messed up the bottom of the flag

Auto supports in Prusa, and then supported what was left in Chitubox.

Any ideas on what might be causing that thin layer to form?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: added print settings

I am contemplating making things that catch fire, namely oil lamps, using my Photon. Has anyone tried this? Does the resin catch fire?
