Question for the awesome knowledge of folks on here.

I'm UK based and am wondering what people think the best clear resin is? I've used anycubic clear but it turned an odd yellow colour even before final cure.

FINALLY GOT MY PRINTER ONE THE WAY

its been a long time coming but i have finally got a photon on the way. im looking to make functional parts by pringting hollow pieces and filling them with a 2 part epoxy (like fibre glas resin for example). i have a vacuum chamber, part cleaner etc etc.
. I was going to use a tough, flex mix but im not sure (first resin printer)

what resin would you guys recommend

I'm just about to swap resins over from Anycubic clear to Elegoo grey - can I mix them and use up the last of the clear? or should I just bottle it for the next time I buy some?

I may have forgot to do one important step after cleaning off the build plate.

Update: the was a big sigh of relief when I saw that the plate landed on the inside wall of the aluminum vat and not on the FEP and screen. Also it must have happened just before I got home as there was almost no hardened resin on the FEP.

Today I came home to check out my 16+ hour print job to find that the vat was partially empty/dry! The print managed to finish though, # blessed . How do you hit a happy medium between overfilling and running out? This was my longest and largest print so far and I had to work and leave it unattended, so couldn't have refilled the vat during the print but maybe I shouldn't have started it if I had to leave?

Also, the way the resin settled made me realize my table must be far from level. No super obvious problems that I've noticed so far but do y'all think I should fix that?

Hi printing community

I've recently received my photon s and have only had one nice print come out. An issue that occurred was the prints sticking to the fep film as opposed to the plate but after reading posts here, I have releveled it nicely. Thanks. However, a new problem occurs where the supports for the print disappears? I don't know but the images below should tell you my issue.

When I have taken the print out because I cancelled it, the bat does not have any solid bits so I'm wondering what happened to the supports.

The print settings are the basic resin settings are fault but the supports are at medium.

Possible that it could be a corrupted USB stick like the other anycubic as cards that get given to us?

Recently got a Photon S, mainly wanting to print sci-fi ships that there are no kits of. Not sure if there is a problem with the printer or the resin, but it's not printing fine details or panel lines. Couple of pictures of what I printed in the bundled green transparent resin and what a guy did on his Elegoo Mars. They are the same size, only difference is I did mine at 0.15 and he did it at 0.05. Could it be the viscosity? I read somewhere lower viscosity=finer details. If so, any recommended brands/types?
