So I have had 2 successful prints of this file while on 4.2.17, but I was having unrelated issues with, so I updated to 4.2.18 and now I have had 4 failures with both models in the print getting pulled of the supports on the file that worked perfectly file before this.

I am running Anycubic Grey resin around 70 degs

print settings are 0.025 with 11s exposure. and the last run i tried a different position and 0.05 at 18s exposure.

You can see it get to the parts of the model that have a wider surface area and these end up stick to the fep and tearing away from the supports.

My problem:

I am printing a file that needs to be as detailed as possible on all sides. Im having issues where the bottom side (facing towards the build plate) is losing definition. How do I fix this? I've tried orienting the model differently, which helped but it's still slightly off.

I'm using anycubic clear resin and the standard settings on chitubox. Is it as simple as changing my settings or using a different resin?

Well at first I thought my first print was a complete and total disaster. There was resin splashed on the glass inside the machine but it doesn't seem as if it got anywhere else. I did not overfill the tank -- the level was well below the line in the tank. Anyway, now I realize that it's only like, 99% a disaster. I printed this, but I have no idea how to read it. Also, is it supposed to be thinner towards the front?
Things I did before I did this print:
Grabbed the .photon file from thingverse. It's for the PHoton S and I have just a Photon, but with the Photon S MB
I did level the print bed after watching several different videos.

The printer is sitting on a stable, level surface.
So what gives here?

I know this is unfinished but I really wanted to share how well it is going. Daphne never looked sexier than this. I am trying an idea I read on here about using clear resin to fill in the connection cracks and so far looks good and will do a post about my findings on that another time. I will post the link in the comments...

Had an interesting print.

I usually use a raft to print my items, but decided that these would be fine flat on the plate (which they were)

But, when I removed and cleaned them off, I noticed that the right side of the V's (Roman numerals) was missing on those that had V's.

I've scratched where they should be, was hoping they would just be full of resin perhaps, but they never printing. Checked the font, and the right side is only a fraction smaller, but still shouldnt be an issue for the photon.

I'm trying again with a raft this time. Has anyone else had this issue?

100% solid sculpt resin on a 20 month old photon, still using oringnal lcd and unmodified apart from a heater in the chamber ?

Snake Merchant, the level of detail is insane shame it does not show up on the pictures.

Hey guys doing some work on this where should I put the holes so I don't use a lot of resin and how big should I do it? Trying to get this all ready to print soon gonna do supports then extras on photon validator! Btw I already hollowed it to save me a fortune Haha

I mixed some blue pearl mica powder with anycube clear resin and this was the result.

So I changed the resin settings to match what the spreadsheet says for the Phton Cube and... holy crap! 10.5 hours to print this? Looks like I won't be printing this today. Anyone have any other suggests for something else that's relatively quick? 3-5 hours, I'm fine with, but more than that, I don't have time for today since I gotta go to bed at some point.

I was going to do my first print today of the Anycubic Cube, but 1) I'm using grey resin, so I'm trying to match up the settings in the spread sheet with the settings in Chutibox... it's not 1 to 1 and
2) the estimate is over 6 hours. Is that really how long it takes?
