friends is it possible to mix resins of different colors, all of which are opaque?

there is always resin left in the packaging.

Trying to figure out where to set up the new resin printer (among a gazillion other things). How much ventilation do you need for an Anycubic Photon? As in should it be under a hood, or is it okay to just crack a window in the room. No one else would be hanging out in the room while it's printing, so there's that. Also... light. The best room to put it in has a lot of light. Thoughts anyone?

On subject of internal resin curing I offer the following. A standard 5mm LED has a molded lens that projects most of the light in one direction. This is not what you want. You can make the LED omnidirectional by cutting off the lens with a fine tooth saw. Be careful not to cut too close to the LED chip because there is a fine wire feeding it. No need to polish the cut end because you want the light to scatter. Pictures attached to demonstrate :

I'm starting to get a very thin layer of solidified resin in the bottom of the vat when I print. Not quite edge to edge, but much larger than the cross-section of the print. LCD going bad? FEP change? Re-level? Not sure what the right first step is...

I tried my first print today... and nothing. The build plate was empty, there was nothing there. I pulled out the vat and can see where the first layers were built but it is clear that the build plate wasn't low enough against the FEP to grab the solidified resin. How do I fix this. I put in my print and started the printer. I assume the build plate lowered to the 0 plane and then lifts out one layer at a time. But how do I get the build plate down low enough? Every time I try to set 0 the screen says press Home first then lower the plate, which I do, and then after completing the leveling procedure I still cant set the z=0. Any advice is appreciated.

My very first figurine print! Used Anycubic Clear green resin
Exposure time : 10s
Layer height : 0.02mm
off time : 3s
bottom exposure : 50s
layers : 4

Not sure why there are white spots on the models after it cures under the sun. Any recommendations to make it better?

So I had a arm printed out and of course it is missing a finger. I dont want to waste resin on a whole arm just for a finger. Is there a type of material to add. to kind of sculpt in a finger.

Any ideas? This was furniture, ie. shelves, benches and chairs. It’s just a brick of resin. Used all of the resin in the vat. This only happened before when I’d go from the prusa auto supports to chitu box to the validator. I cut out the validator step and have been printing fine. Did the same here, back to the brick of resin.
