Another day, another problem :D
Working on this little fella here, and I don't get why I keep getting issues between part connections. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the details are out of this world, but for some reason, when I try to fit the parts together, some of them don't fit that good.
I want to add that months ago I did the same exact print, but in FDM, and the part snapped together immaculately!

I'll give a go reprinting the front part of the head, and the lip, as those where part of my first prints, while the tentacles and the back of the head are the latest and they seem to fit nicely together. Could this be due to bad supports and stuff like that?

So one of many reasons I got my photon was to make custom icons and parts for my space marine army. Well photon is printing great and I love this machine so much I might order a second.
But the part of my whole plan that's not working is my design skills........
Was wondering what free software people might recommend for editing .stl files. I'd like to be able to.
Resize
Curve
Group
And possibly texture existing .stl files.

Ok, here we go!! I just finished a print and started another one. Upon loading the new file and hitting the start button, nothing happened. I then tested to see if the LCD is working,,,nothing. I then attempted to raise and lower the z axis using the appropriate icons in the tools section.....nothing happens, except a very very very slow movement of the Z axis. I then replaced the power supply with a known good supply that runs my FDM machines. Still nothing. Next, I reinstalled the firmware, when that did nothing, I went back to the very first firmware that came with the machine...still nothing. Not even the Photonsters firmware made a difference or even the EPAX 1 software. I believe I have pretty much covered all of the bases necessary to get this running again. Any suggestions outside of what I have already tried would be appreciated. All of the startup screens come up normally, but that is the end of normal.

(Printing for 4ish months) So I recently was stumped I could not get consistant prints, alot of peeling off of the build plate. I reveled over and over again without any success. I broke down and cleaned my machine top to bottom and then replaced the fep AND TUNED IT THIS TIME, and it worked great! I felt totally backed by using the search function on this page and using the photonsters page. Just figured I should make a post so if some else searched PEELING OFF OF BUILD PLATE this will pop up and help them. Thank you all who provide support! Thank you from the people who dont ask but still read your answers.

I can honestly say since I have bought a photon that, I have never seen a machine impress you as much as this one can when it’s printing right. However, I have also never seen a machine that has so many ways to fail as photon either.

Hello all, new owner waiting on my machine to be delivered. Decided on the Photon per all the great reviews, and videos I saw on YouTube. I have some experience with the Form 2 and never really cared for it due to severe issues with printing (failed parts often, etc), but cannot wait to get my machine and get started.
