Hi everyone this is a great group. I did a great first print on my new machine. I did a second print and got some whiting on the print. Has anyone got any suggestions to what it is. I believe I cleaned and cured ok with my uv lamp.

Help, it's arrived. Say's I can heat up to 80°. However, do i put the prints in a butter container inside sealed in IPA and fill the tank with water and not turned the heating on, for initial part to help IPA remove excess resin. Then after that part, do I put prints in water in machine and heat to a certain temperature for final clean??? Newbie needs help ?

My first print on my new Photon. I grabbed some of my random files that I've created in the past and I have to say that I'm blown away by the detail and accuracy. I expected to botch at least a few prints initially. This is my first 3D printer. I used to outsource the printing of each and every one of my designs. This little machine is fantastic value for money! I tested a burnout for casting and as such it was almost perfectly ash free. I'll post pictures of the results after casting. I'll first attempt it with silver as it's a cheap medium to experiment with.

So I'm buying the photon today. I've never used a resin printer before but I have done a lot of reading. I know that some of you use a resin curing box or machine. I have plenty of room to cure in the sun and no shade. I was wondering what is the best way to go about curing in the direct sunlight. Any and all recommendations are welcome.

Did some looking but couldn't find a quick answer: Does anyone know what the thermal properties of the green resin that comes with the photon are like? I'm tempted to use it to make a cooling duct for my enclosed FDM machine, and wasn't sure if it'd be a futile effort.
