I have no problem finding videos show how to run an exposure test but nothing on how to read one. Can anyone recommend a source?

Used my Photon to print all the small parts on a few props for the Overwatch League opener. The scope, side tubes, dart mounts, and sling mounts are all Siraya Tech Fast. The dart, charging handle, and transparent hood are clear Siraya Tech Blu. I printed the dart hollow then filled it with pigmented non degassed Smooth Cast 325 to give it a bubbly liquid look. I'm extremely happy with how well the resin printed parts incorporated with the rest of the FDM printed ones. Saved myself at least a day of sanding.

excuse me. Normally when do you know it's time to change your FEP film?
I have just run the resin exposure file and the chart is clear on 1,2 and 9-10 column but "flat" in the center (4~7 coumn)
there for my conclusion is the FEP film is loose/ old
Is that right ?

Well, I have been having some weird problems with my printer as of late. I will print the same file back to back and one will turn out completely fine and the other will fail spectacularly. I am printing with Elegoo Grey with a layer height of 0.05mm with an exposure time of 12s. I also make sure all the islands are supported by using the photon file validator. I have been having great results with these settings when the print doesn't have any failures. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to get rid of some AA problems (mostly horizontal steps, gradient exposure controll), described here: https://www.alexwhittemore.com/efficacy-of-antialiasing-on-msla-prints/
I have made allready my own slicer who theoretically adresses those issues (it's in 3dsmax, very slow, but it works ;) Just need to create photon files from rendered images to make some tests. So, I'm looking now for a tool, where you can make photon file from series of images, but it needs to support grayscale images with AA . Anybody could help? :)
I also upgraded my photon (zrail and screen on the glass) to get the best quality possible and test the results under microscope, and share the results with you. 翻譯年糕

Hello again, following on from my exposure test I tried some new prints.

There are some details that are getting filled in (annoying as my fdm doesn't fill them in) around the filigree.

First one was:
0.05
10 exposure
1
120
5

I figured that reducing the exposure could fix the filigree area so I went down to 9 exposure in the second print (I also changed the angle) . But I started getting some flat artifacts. Is this because I reduced the exposure?

Any help with getting this to print would be most appreciated.

Obligatory my-printer-arrived-and-I’m-printing-my-first-print... post.

Positive note. Using AC green with zero detectable odor. Even sitting next to it.

No. Not printing the cube. No idea if my prints will take. Printing a Valknut Odin symbol for my D&D campaign. I printed two badges angled and one smaller one flat...

Noob question, but I've just changed my first FEP and after the next print I've noticed air pockets in the FEP. Was I supposed to remove a layer before installing onto the vat?

**Edit for additional notes**

Ambient temperature in the little cabinet I have the printer in seems to be about 21-22^. Is that too cold?

Mysterious print fail, please help!

Got my printer Tuesday. Started test print, about halfway in everything looked good so I got impatient and stopped it to try printing a simple model of my own design.

Next 5 attempts had spots on them that failed. Adhesion has been fine on everything but I went ahead and re-leveled anyways, still not problems there. Issues I was having was supports failing halfway up and flat surfaces parallel to z axis having weird occasional wobble or sometimes a bend. Figured it was just me messing up the support/orientation so I kept trying.

Finally decided I better run the full test print just to be sure, and this is what I got. Nothing stuck on the fep, only a tiny dot or two floating in the vat.

Been shaking the crap out of the resin bottle before adding it, then letting the bubbles settle out before printing, so I believe it’s mixed up well enough.

Any ideas of what might cause this?
