I bought a photon a while back and am finally getting around to using it this weekend. Does anyone have a “starter kit” list? Or recommendations? Besides the machine and liquid, what else do you suggest I get? I’ve heard latex gloves& eye protection. What else? Thank you for any help you can offer

R_E_R_F - Resin Exposure Range Finder

I did the RERF with a new Photon S and Monocure Rapid Gray. The Normal Exposure Time was default (8). The best exposure seems to be No. 5. None of them are perfect.
To summerise, my printer with this resin requires a normal Exposure setting of: 8+5=13.

Seems a little high? Is this inline with your experience?

I'm getting badly warped models with current setting of 11s. Baseplates pulling away from supports etc.

I'd like to sculpt some straps in ZBrush similar to the ones pictured here and print them. Do you guys know if there a flexible resin that I could try? I don't want to heat up normal resin and bend it because that just sounds like a bad idea all around. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you're adding flexible resin to your mixture, which ones are you using and have had good luck with? Are there more affordable options out there? I've heard of people having issues with miniatures shattering without a ratio of maybe 15-20% flex resin. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys
Following wise advice I have tested the better exposure test;)
Resin : anycubic plant based orange
3-10 seconds test.
Smell is the same I would say... probably less dangerous overall but cannot really say it smells better;) but very thin and smooth... easy to clean very opaque and not longer exposure than other anycubic... bit more expensive still

I had hoped I placed my IPA order before the panic, but I just got this from my UK supplier when I asked why tracking had not updated in over a week :

“Hello,

hi everyone! what could have caused the crack? printed using monocure blue using the settings from the excel file. leveled using flint read method and the print is solid. the crack is getting longer, ive marked where it was before. would super glue with powder prevent it from getting longer? thanks
