Test print and first miniature (keg golem): SUCCESS. Hella excited to figure out what’s next! What primers do you guys recommend for resin printing (this is just anycubic gray)? Generally use acrylic paints if that matters.

Hey guys just had two quick questions the 1st one is when I'm making my prints ts their is a suction pop on it is that very bad? I have rafts underneath my prints and then they are angled in a 45 degree angle. The second one is that screen when printing g has very small blue line on the top and bottom is that normal? Added some kapeton tape to help keep the screen safe from recommendation only did it where the screen lights werent showing on the exposure test. Thank you sorry for long question!

Can anyone explaine me that error? Printed at the same oriantation same support everything. The ony thing I changes is the exposure time from 12 to 11 seconds. Could that create such line problems ? 1. is the first print came out great. 2. bäprint with errors

Never seen this issue before. One side of the print has a jelly like film over it. I ran the exact same print the night before and it came out spotless. Is it a sign that my LCD is dying?

I'm guessing it's not supposed to look like that?

As far as I know I have not changed any settings my next print just came out as almost a plane of resin.

Hi All!

Im having my first go at Hero Resin (white). I bought it for a specific use and model.

Im having trouble with “goopy” prints. Talking with Matt, we believe the exposure settings are good, but maybe I’m not supporting the model correctly or something. Ive printed it very cleanly with the same supports using Siraya Tech FAST (the gray print in the pics)

0.05 layers
4 base layers
70sec base exp
15-17 sec layer exposure (I’ve tried all three)

It’s really hard to photograph the white, but I think you’ll see the defects in the photos.

Need some help ?

I hollow and place support with Prusaslicer. When I export the buildplate with supports as .stl, the model becomes solid again ??‍♂️

So when I open the file in Chitubox the holes are gone and it's a solid, supported model..

Could someone help me out? ?

Well, that FEP lasted about 4 months. I had a failed print, so I took the vat out to drain and clean, but found a layer of resin on the screen. Took me an hour to scrape it off with my fingernail. And, of course, I have no idea what I did with my extra FEP material. Amazon to the rescue!

Is anyone familiar with the Monocure Calibration Matrix? Specifically, this model? Here is my first 2 daft questions of the group - I searched and found nothing to help. I have been trying to dial in my exposure settings before trying to print again.

I can see the obvious, like when the bridge bends, rounding on the corners, the text not appearing correctly. BUT... How am I supposed to know when it is right? I can't seem to find a guide on what each test does or is it just a case of whatever one looks good go with it? The bad ones are obvious but there is 2/3 all look VERY similar

So far I seem to be having trouble getting the 'c' in ctrlv to show clearly. The notches in the bottom left also seem to be hit n miss. Printing at 0.025 layer height, variety of exposure lengths. Finally, the bottom left towers... The thin one seems to flop?

Second question - Post curing time. There seems to be a massive variance to this. Some people saying 2 mins and some leave them for hours/day. I understand size is a factor but can anyone give me a guide on say a 28mm figure under an artificial UV lamp? We don't get much sun in Scotland :(
