What’s the downside to overexposure on the layers? From what I’ve seen around a lot of it depends on the temperature of the surroundings?

Right now I have mine set at 10s and it seems just fine but it’s winter and probably 65f in the room with the printer. Come summer time that’s going to be probably 10 degrees warmer or so.

Is that enough of a difference to adjust the exposure?

Hey Guys,

we tried the Elegoo Water Washable Ceramic Grey Resin on our Photon printer but it shrinks and warp extremely when it is curing under UV Light. It shrinks so much that it ripped off the Support from the Modelbase. One part i tried as you can see in a 46,2° angle and the other one flat on the Printplate. I cured that one directly on the build plate, to avoid the Base of the Model to warp upwards. But after removing from the Buildplate, the Sunlight did the Rest after one Day and it warped.

Have anyone any ideas or suggestions to avoid that? Is that a Resin Problem? We don't know what is wrong here, we use a normal AnyCubic Photon, 0,05mm Layer Height. The Printer is stock, sliced with the newest Version of ChituBox.

Hi everyone! Recently I've acquired the new Phrozen Transform, and luckily it works with chitubox so it's a seamless transition. Am wondering does the resin exposure test we have for the anycubic photon works with the Transform as well? Thanks in advance..!

Anyone have used this before? I want to get this, cause it's only cost 20$ for 5 of this, in my country, the anycubic cost 20$ 1 sheet of FEP not 5, my official distributor is crazy over here, photon S cost nearly 1000$ here.

EDIT SOLVED : the thickness is 0.12mm- 0.2mm, and one of member said he use it and work fine, might be a good replacement for anycubic expensive FEP

Can the people that are struggling with the toxic fumes from their Anycubic Photon please get in touch? I would like to buy a second one cheap and set it next to my first one just beside my desk with no ventilation. UK preferred due to cost of postage

In the works (pendant and earrings set). The first print of the pendant failed. The bottom warped. I think needed a couple more supports there. The total thickness is 1.6 mm.
Next attemp will be better! ? ?

Photon S users, what is the best process for using photon validator? Currently I use the following process:

- Prusaslicer for auto supports, export
- Chitubox, add supports as necessary, export as photon file
- Photon Validator, manually fix large islands bouncing between programs. Once all the large islands are supported in chitubox I slice it one final time, again as a photon (not photon.s file), run through validator to fix the remaining pixels, then save and print.

Is this the optimal process? Am I losing anything by not printing as a photon.s file?
