hey guys... so i've been trying to print this for about a week now... basically went through a liter of failed prints. I actually thought that my printer was broken until i tried to print a few other items just fine. After those successful prints, i went back to this one and again, 2d print stuck on the FEP. What am i doing wrong? I'd appreciate any feedback thanks!

Coming from 4x FDM printers, and long time commission printer. I can easily calculate that FDM printing can be charged directly to printer time ($ per printing hour).

Today I got my Photon, and obviously printing per hour is now out the window with this little guy.

Does anyone here charge per milliliter? If so, how was your calculation done to include all consumables and your own time?

With all the amazing artists out there now, and some figure overlap, I'll admit it's harder for me to be stunned by a sculpt. And maybe it's just me because I really love minis, but some models just scream at me due to style, content, dynamic pose, the "je ne sais quois" that just makes me drop everything else and rush to get it on my print bed. I also have always loved sharks, so whatever the combination of things I like, when I saw this I instantly became a Patron. Literally didn't think, saw the model, clicked join. I don't even feel like trying to make a funny caption quote, just loving the model!

I have been printing with Anycubic Green since I got my machine. I have a Liter of Elegoo Grey that I want to try out. This is my first time trying anything other than the green. Do these settings look right? The spread sheet says "Off Time" is 6,5. Not exactly sure what that means. Is that the Light off Delay and Bottom Light off? And what does 6,5 mean?

Came here because my Formlabs Form 2 broke and was out of warranty. Can’t believe fixing it would cost half the price of a new one and I didn’t even finish 1 liter of resin on it and the laser died. Hoping the photon s is a great machine!

I am placing an order today for filament for my 3 FDM printers and I want to order a couple liters of resin for my Photon. I am brand new to resin printing so right now I just have the green that came with my Photon. I am printing miniatures for tabletop gaming so is there a brand or color that is better suited or should I just order more of the Anycubic Green?

I see a lot of people printing grey for their miniatures, is there a specific reason why? Strength, smell, base color?

Oh Boy.... so last night I unboxed my photon and set it up .... leveled and all that good stuff. I used the USB stick and selected the .photon file for the test print.... it took forever... so I woke up this morning and after 6 hours of printing I got... NOTHING. There is literally nothing in the build plate. Swirled around the resin and nothing. What gives?!!!?!? Yes, I did do a UV test before I started and it was working fine. Where did i go wrong?!?
