Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » youtube

Hi,

I'm an long time DLP printer recently having bought a Photon S.
The first print I did went great, but the second print gave me issues with base stuck to FEP. I swapped out the FEP and tensioned it correctly following the guide, but the last 6 prints keep failing. either they stick to the FEP or only part of it prints, if I print the testcube again it fails as well with the base stuck to the FEP.

I used the leveling guide everyone seems to say is the best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEaNVfT8y9w&feature=youtu.be

But still hasn't helped.
I've also tried using chitubox instead of photon workshop, but no improvement.
I'm using Wanhao Black resin with settings from the google drive (upping the bottom exposure a bit), but had the same issues with the included anycubic green.
Any ideas what else I can try?
(file is too big to open again, but you can see I'm missing lots) 翻譯年糕

I would like to report a great experience with Anycubic recently!
Just over a week ago my main board in my Photon (classic) had signs of being dead. Having bought the printer in August I was out of the Amazon return deadline, so dreaded trying to get a warranty repair or replacement with a company in China.
But I was really pleasantly surprised.
Last week I contacted Anycubic via their official UK Amazon store and told them about the problem, and that I had followed the instructions in their YouTube faulty motherboard diagnosis video.
Initially, I did not think they had responded, as in my Amazon message page, I had not realised there was a "buyer/seller" tab, where within 24 hours they had responded to me. I found this last friday!
They had responded that the fastest way for me to get a replacement would be by buying a new main board from their Amazon store, and once it had shipped they would refund me...
I was slightly skeptical, but I ordered the board on the friday night and on Monday it arrived.
Tuesday I fitted it, and have been up and running with my printer again all week.
Many thanks to Anycubic, in particular their customer care lady Jessi, who was really helpful in resolving this, and even provided some links on Amazon with discount codes for buying their resins cheaper!
All in all, I am really impressed with them.
I just hope they can release the source code for the new Photon and stick to what they promised they would do with rebranding the photons with the new board as "Photon Updated", as I would really love this group and Photonsters to get along with Anycubic, it is one thing I really loved about the photon and the photon community... Anyway, just thought I would write a positive experience with Anycubic and give them some credit where it was due!

Needing help... Printer has been working well up until the other day, I set it to print something and left. Starting hearing it make a beep about every second or so, so I checked on it and the print was not going past 1%. Did some investigating and when I try to print something, the LCD screen will flash along with the beeps. Did the UV test and the box flashes once and then never reappears. I also discovered that some of my earlier files (only three of them) will work correctly and everything else does this, even if I've successfully printed them before. YouTube video to show the issue:

Hey Ester day if got my photon. And I'm. Not happy with it.
The print looks very bad. I retightened the fep cleansed all. Make an firmware upgrade and readjusted the z axis like anycubic showed on there YouTube channel. The print I've used is the file on die USB stick. The resin has about 22 degreed C.
What do I wrong?
The bottle of resin that comes with the printer is nearly empty...

Absolute total noob with nothing more than watching a few YouTube tutorials under my belt. I took my time with the setup and the test print and it seems to have paid off. I was a little nervous after reading some of the horror stories here. Just wanted to encourage the other noobs out there. Didn't mess with any of the settings (although I was tempted) and let it print with right out of the box specs.

Im replacing the led screen on my photon because the fep was sticking to it and ripped it free severing there connection. I’ve watched the YouTube videos and I’m confident it’s installed right but what should I use to stick it down so this doesn’t happen again?

I've got some questions about supports. I've watched a few videos on YouTube and have come up with what I think is a good plan for supports but I've only printed one little mini. I tilt the model so that it starts printing a thin line first, on something that isn't totally flat, and then I basically use the arrow keys, I'm using Chitubox, going layer by layer. When I see an island start forming I put a light support in. Then I'll go back and add medium and heavies where I think it needs more support. Is this a good approach? Do you need to support EVERY island? Sometimes it ends up putting supports connecting to the model itself but I'd imagine if there isn't a support there it'll just start on the vast and potentially fail the print. Would I be right with that assumption?

Hey all, thanks for the steer on the resin yesterday, I have a regular photon on the way not the “S” I’ve been FDM printing for about 3 years now so not entirely new to printing, my question is what should I do first before I attempt to print aside from looking at YouTube videos, is there a better software I should be using, are there any firmware versions that are better than others etc TIA
