I tried to start a print last night multiple times. I couldn't get the part to stick to the supports. I finally decided to swap the resin out for Siraya Fast and I had no more problems. The reason I bring this up is due to the fact that the first resin was sitting in the vat for 2 weeks. I stirred it up but I feel like cleaning of the FEP helped.

Has anyone else noticed this or am I completely off base. Just looking for the hive mind to help.

So I've seen some great prints and user review from elagoo grey. Mine should be arriving today, and I was hoping for any tips or tricks that you've personally found for this particular resin. Printing mostly minis and bit with it is my plan

Hey guys,

I didn't print anything on my photon in like 2 months and started printing again using a new bottle of Anycubic Grey. So far I only used Anycubic Green (translucent).

But I really struggle with this grey resin. I'm getting strange artefacts on my prints, that appear randomly on certain layers across multiple minis. I also have some goop sticking to the FEP. They are like flakes and can also be found on parts of the minis.

I also noticed that some parts of my prints such as the wolf's paws or the feet of the goblins merge together with the base or are flattened out. I tried doing an exposure test previously, and also had these artifacts. Due to not perfect leveling I didn't use the exposure test results and releveled first.

Could it be some mechanical failure like light leakage?

I took the exposure settings from the spreadsheet.

0.05mm layer height.

18sec exposure

1sec offtime

base layers 90sec

8 base layers.

I reduced the exposure to 14 later, since i saw some posts of people saying the exposure was far too high on the spreedsheet, but the results were the same.

The fep was very tight, maybe even too tight. I will replace it for a testprint with the remainder of my anycubic green.

Helloo ?

It's been a while since the last time I used my printer. March to be exactly ? but after a quick dust of, some IPA cleaning and filtering the resin (that was still in the VAT) it printed without a problem ?? ??

I know, shitty picture.. but was in hurry yesterday and quickly shot this one ?

Since I've started printing again, I've got a few questions.

1. Is it worth upgrading the firmware? Because of the AA and stuff like that.

2. How is the dual Z-rail upgrade? Not running into problems like Z-wobble, so I don't know if it's worth it for me..

All other tips and tricks are also welcome ?

I am looking for tips on how to protect resin prints from the environment, like hot cold wet etc, how much punishment can the 'stock' anycubic resins take or what can you do to protect them (like varnishes, paints etc).

Any ideas ?

Hey guys, so I have a bigger print that keeps failing to adhere to the plate but rather sticks to the fep. Smaller prints like minis are fine, but this large print always fails. I've tried releveling the bed, really dont want to sand the plate. Any tips or suggestions please? Using the generic anycubic green with standard settings, first layers are 40s I think with 8s layers.

Hi everyone! Got my photon today, already having trouble, first resin printer, I’ve got a ton of fdm printers. Any tips you can offer would be awesome. 3 fails so far, decided to change resolution to .05 and add a raft. Hoping that helps.
