So i designed this ring and just decided to 3D print the prototype with the stones in it. Basic Grey, .05mm layer.

I've go to make some prototypes for a mass produced product idea and they are supposed to be specific colors. Has anyone tried the Monocure 3D CMYK Pigment Set and if so what is the result? Link in reply

I'm relatively new at resin 3D printing, and so I find myself thinking about ways to improve my workflow. One of the things in my mind lately is avoiding cross-contamination while wearing gloves. Any hints, tips? What is your order of operations like to avoid getting resin everywhere from your gloves and having to wipe things up?

So now that I owned resin printers for 18 months now I have some info for you all.
After 1000 hrs on the Photon S screen replacement and one going at 2000 hrs and still going. What I did when they came in was I looked at the whole machine all sides and such. And tried an experiment. There is a large fan on the bottom of these machines as well as Egeloo mars and others. They all have feet that raise the unit up about 1 inch at most. So I decided to raise one Mars and then One Photon I cut a hole below the unit into my stand/platform where the fan/unit would be above. This created better air flow and I have found that machine runs less hot and the lcd lasted longer up to 2x as much. So I would say Rasie Your Machines off the platform you have it on. See photos below on my test units. I have 8 Photons and 4 Mars machines and s400s and Phenom and Transform machines here as well.

Ever since I was a kid I wanted my own terminator. thanks to getting my hands on a photon I could make that dream come true <3 original 3D model was purchased from https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-terminator-t800-rigged-model/799749 It wasn't as easy as downloading and printing as I had to spend heaps of time to repair, pose and smooth out this model for printing.

Hi Guys, new to the group and just about to start my first test print, however instead of the regular resin I have the translucent green eco resin.

I heave heard to check the bed is leveled it is best to print the test latice cube however since the exposure times and whatnot are set within the print file itself I was wondering if this test will still work with the eco resin or if it is only configured for use with the standard resin the printer usually ships with?

Can I still use the latice cube with the eco resin or is there a better test file I should use?

Sorry if the question sounds stupid, I am completely new to 3D printing, also sorry if this question has been asked before, I did a quick search and could not find anything that answered the question.

One of the reasons it's important to understand 3D modeling in the programming that does it is when you're slicing or file sometimes the normals in the 3D model were flipped in short it means no light is bouncing off of that surface that is the program cannot calculate light bouncing off of that surface. And for some reason that affects the slicer into thinking that that surface does not exist. To fix it one has to go into the 3D program that built the model oral program that can manipulate the model such as blender and find those faces and flip the normal if in the 3D program you can see the faces they should turn black or if they word black to begin with and you flipped their normals then they will be lit up. Basically the opposite state.
