Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » SolidWorks

I know this may be a long shot, but would anyone on here be able to open a .3ds file (with autodesk or similar), and export some of the components as separate .stl or similar files for me?

I have a car model that I would like to modify and print in separate parts (chassis, hood, front bumper, rear bumper, etc). It came in .3ds and .stl formats among others, but the car was saved as a full assembly of parts, which is very difficult for me to work with in solidworks, since importing the mesh file results in lots of surface and gap errors and confusion as to where one section ends and the next one starts.

Im hoping that if it were exported in those individual sections instead of as an assembly, it would import much more smoothly and I wont have to spend days separating them by hand.

Thanks so much for approving my join request. I am just opening my first resin printer now. I design quite a bit of mechanical items at work and use several programs to do so(solidworks, illustrator, etc.) I have purchased the Anycubic Photon to print to achieve two different things. The first, I would like to print people, just everday life people from the 1920 - 1940's. Second to make molds for lost wax castings of mechanical parts.
I have never designed people, wish me luck!

No more smell. This is a carbon filter for resin 3d printers. I have provided all the files you need to print this including STL, 3MF and the original solidworks files for those interested in modifications to this design. For the Anycubic photon printers this is meant to be mounted on the back. Drilling and modification to your printer is required. Relocate the 50mm fan to the inside back of the printer. Block off the original fan hole with the block off plate or use tape. The pdf has all the dimensions and can be used as a drilling template when printed 1:1. Depending on your slicing software, you might need to mirror the housing file in order to get the large hole above the original location. I have clearance the parts to my 3d printers tolerance of .3mm. If the parts are to tight, they might require minor sanding. I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS YET TO SEE IF IT REDUCES SMELL. I am curently printing this out righ now and will be mounting to my printer soon. However I see no reason why this would not reduce smell as the carbon capacity of this is large for what it is.
EDIT: Hole problem fixed https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4049994 翻譯年糕

Update on the bottle.. I printed at 3 degrees incline from straight and made it hollow using solidworks, I did add internal supports just in case! Now it looks much better... I am printing now one version without internal supports just to see if the walls can support the structure and this time no incline.. we will see ;)

my printer will arrive during the weekend and i have to print some small bottles that i designed using Solidworks.. the question i have for more seasoned fellas would be.. How to position the bottle? i am afraid of the suction created if i place it just upright from the plate (upside down for real perspective.. or should i print it the opposite direction? or maybe at 45 degrees? Please any advice is welcome!
another question i have is, what is the "best" temperature for the room where the printer is located when printing?

Buen día.

Alguien me puede ayudar con la siguiente duda.

Utilizo como medio de diseño solidworks y quiero saber si la impresora realiza la impresión 1-1 o si debo hacer una compensación en el tamaño de las piezas?

Gracias.

Saludos.

Yesterday I pulled the plug and ordered the Photon.

From what I've read on this site I'll need the following.

1. Lots of paper towels
2. IPA 90+%
3. Side Cutters
4. UV Source for curing
5. Gloves
6. Respirator
7. Clear Level work space

Is there a definitive list of item and or software to acquire in advance? I have Solidworks ($20.00 if your a Veteran) and Alibre CAD/CAM.

I plan on making some prototype parts for this keep-it-klean.net. I have most of the parts already completed just some of the smaller parts will need some slight mods.

Suggestions?
