Can resin be shaped at all pre or post curing? Have a model i may need to shape a little curve in, only 3mm wide but wondering if itd be best to print in pla on my um2+. Not as great a detail but it will let me heat and shape.

Pic as an example, its the bottom flat pieces i neee to shape to fit the curve, my modelling skills are excellent in tinkercad but given how far ive got it wont let me now curve that piece.

Some recent prints off my Photon. Mostly in 1/72 scale except for the last pic which is of a 1/35 scale copy of the 1/72 pallet and generator designs.

These were all designed using TinkerCad, BTW.

50lb CO2, trolley mounted flightline type fire extinguishers in 1/72 scale. These are for a large museum Vietnam war era diorama. The fire extinguishers are just under 1" (24.4 mm) tall.

These were designed using TinkerCad. The .stl was oriented and supported using B9 Creator. The supported stl. was imported in ChiTuBox to arrange a build plate full and then slice.

Printed on my Photon using Elegoo Standard Gray resin. .02 layers. 8 bottom layers @ 45s. 9.25s normal layers. Six sets (extinguisher and nozzle) printed at one time.

Airbrushed with Tamiya paints for the base colors, then hand painted with Vallejo Model Colors and Games Workshop for the details.

The hoses are .4mm dia lead solder wire.

Hi everyone. I seem to be having a weird problem here. I have made sure if was level to the bed and that the bed was level even took it through meshmixer and did find a few errors. Took it into tinkercad and rebuilt it and still this keeps happening. I have tried 2 different photons and 2 different resins all with the same result. I'm not sure if it's moving during print but if so why on both machines also the error is the same everytime. Has this happened to anyone else.?

Hi everyone. Does anyone have suggestions on free programs to use for creating the 3D models? I'm a noob and I only know about Tinkercad. I don't mind learning more complicated programs to be able to have more control and options. I want to be able to create some siege towers, castles, ships, monsters, and mechs. Thanks, guys.

It wouldn't let me attach a video and a file in the same post, but here's the LED block hole that can be added to existing designs via TinkerCAD or any other CAD editor.

Any ideas on why I've got a weird rectangle occurring in the corner of the print? It's obviously not part of the model. I've tried printing this three time now, and gotten this artifact twice.

Elegoo RapidCure Grey with suggested settings from the community sheet, 0.05 layer height. File designed in TinkerCAD for the local brewery's weekly trivia night.

Thought i might share my results with Anycubic Black Resin mixed with about 20% Monocure Flex Transparent. Worked quite well and i'm suprised that it printed that way (its not perfectly round though but at least held on to the buildplate. Settings were: Layer Thickness: 0.05mm, Normal Exposure Time 12s, Off Time 6.5s, Bottom Ex. Time 55, Bottom Layers 8. No other supports used other than the foot i added with TinkerCAD and snapped off after printing. If you're curious, its a lenscap i modified a bit to add some self adhesive velcro to the bottom.

Cheers

One of the first prints I've properly painted up. This is a 1/76 scale British Railways Open Merchandise Wagon modelled in Tinkercad, printed using Elegoo Grey, 0.04mm, 10.7s exposure, 8x AA. Very pleased with the outcome!
