Anyone UV proof their workspace? I have a LARGE window in the lab and would love to hear suggestions on how to go about protecting my work and be cost effective.

So in preperation of my new photon i wanted to have a solid and Nice UV Curing solution.

So after some tinkering her is my new "uv microwave" - the microwave part. It hase cooling trough the fan of the old microwave and the base spins nicely when the timer runs out just like your normal microwave the light turns of.

Inside I have a 20watts UV Led.

I am considering to make the inside reflective with aluminum tape or something like it. But since the rotation of the base is quite rapid I don't think it will be needed.

Greetings a new proton owner

Cupid and Psyche from the Louvre. Keep being amazed by the excellent print quality. Used white Wanhao. The odor is strong, but it has a nice marble like color.

印在光子上. 用zbrush的檔案模特粘土製作面板. 只需新增耳朵撕裂然後完成.

Hello again ? been here before and are now back better prepared. In short: last year I did buy a PhotonS and sold it again after a short time for several reasons: I was surpriced, it was SO messy, poisonous, stinking and the prints need post processing with IPA, UV, OMG, gloves and a lot of paper towels. All this just to produce small prints with awful mechanical properties ?

The biggest issue was however the fact that the printer should be used in a ventilated area so toxic fumes and smell not will do a health risk for my family or me.
Now my second PhotonS is ordered and I am prepared with a good ventilation solution found on (slow as h..) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3877012

It is no secret that I DO like the great details that the Photon can produce and I think it is a great hobby ?

Hi guys, do you spot the different colors white? I wonder did I put them too lóng or too shórt in the UV light? ....The ones at the bottom look a bit like they are “glow in the dark” and the ones on the right side at the top look “crème” ??? Should I UV- cure those longer? Or did I overdue?I used NXT Snow White from FunToDo....How long do you put small items them in the UV-light?
? ? THANX AGAIN ? ?

Question on post-processing (curing).
I use the Anycubic ECO resin which can be flexible, but I've been accidentally snapping some pieces off my minis with almost no effort. I think I'm overcuring them.

I have a 6 watt 405nm lamp and a small solar powered turn table.

How do I determine how long to cure the ECO resin given my UV lamp? or how do I know when this stage is complete?
How can I know when I've over-cured (or under-cured) it?
I'm doing it more because I know I'm supposed to, but not exactly sure why.
